Sometimes the pizza is fantastic, and sometimes the pizza is just slapped together with what ever works like a rental off M street in downtown Tacoma. 90% of the time it’s coming from the South hill location from the employees that have rainbow hair and a face full of piercings. They kinda look like they got into a fight with a fishing tackle box and then lost. The downtown puyallup location seems to be the best. The puyallup one usually doesn’t have those employees.

Wood fire brick oven pizza is the ONLY pizza we will actively look for while traveling across the country. We were looking at a 5th wheel for sale, and we asked the owner if they knew of such a place, they highly recommended Fat Zach's. So we looked the place up and checked the reviews, which were good, so when we arrived we tried a half-and-half.Instead of delivering the pizza to your table, they yell out your name and you have to go to the counter and pick up your food? When they called my name, I raised my hand and said "right here" and the girl with the pink hair, nose ring, and lip piercings brought the pizza to our table.We are not sure what everyone is raving about because the pizza is some of the worst we have ever had that came from a wood fire brick oven. There was no flavor from either halves' toppings, and the crust was both flimsy and chewy and could have stayed in the oven another minute or two. Even with the slice folded, the slice would not stay up. Very disappoining.The big screens were nice, but the LOUD hip-hop music drove us out. Instead of enjoying another stout beer, we couldn't wait to leave the noise.

Ordered a couple of pizzas and garlic bread today after hearing about how amazing this place was for a bit. Got the two pizza deal for $34 and was quite disappointed. Pizza was quite small and not very thick, more of flatbread with pizza toppings. Pepperoni was good but nothing stood out. Basically mod pizza but a bit more pricey. Garlic bread was better than the pizza and it was essentially the same thing. Got two 24oz drinks and they were basically ice. I'm sure the actual experience might be better but not willing to pay the price again.

Delicious woodfire pizza! The quality of ingredients is amazing and always fresh! They always give you the pizza right out of the oven.Vegetarian options: The Jet is their cheese pizza is delicious. You can also build your own. Their salads are awesome as well!Parking: Lots of parking.Kid-friendliness: There was at least 3 different tvs showing different sports shows. They have a coloring page for the kids to color. Nice 1/2 booths.
The large is the same price as any else but, the pizza is the size of a Xsmall. Don’t get ripped off like we did!

Everything about this location was awesome! From the friendly staff, the super tasty food, and how chill the restaurant atmosphere is. They’ve got the “good ranch” here for all my ranch fiends and apparently they just started selling it in bottles! The best wings I’ve had in a while at a pizza place, cooked to perfection and the seasoning was just right. The pizza was great, the sauce had good flavoring/seasoning and loved that they also put cheese on top of the meats to stick it all together; we got bacon on our pizza and MAN the bacon was crispy and fatty enough to soak in all the flavors of the pizza, the dough was thin and crispy, the crust had good char on it too! Overall an 11/10 experience and looking forward to the next visit!
