Our chef was the least entertaining we have ever had and this was by far the most bland fried rice we've ever been served. Even the bar helper was rushed and somewhat rude.
We have had very good experienced here before so I hope this was just a bad night rather than an overall decline.

No real wait, good food, very open restaurant (lots of space), I found the cook very entertaining. Don't know if the other patrons did. He had a very well put together dry humor routine. Had me chuckling out loud. Prices a little heavy, ok though for a good dinner and entertainment.

A wonderful hibachi experience. The chefs all have unique performance and take allergies and preferences seriously. If you have the money, it's worth the experience.

We go here for special occasions but this time it was so disappointing. Service was HORRIBLE. They charged us an auto gratuity I guess that is why we never saw our server. She already had her money. We never got refills on our $4 water. We didn't get utensils. 3 people at our table had to go to the bar to get them because she never came to help us except to get us to pay. It was my sons birthday which I told them when making the resy and again to server. They didn't even acknowledge him or even give him maybe some ice cream. To spend $200 for every 2 people and there were 8 of us. So close to 1,000 for a table for dinner and have this horrible service so NOT worth it. We will be finding other restaurants to celebrate our special occasions. So sad, but on the good note the food was great and the chef was super nice.

We visited Iron Chef Japanese Steak House in Puyallup to celebrate my granddaughter’s 13th birthday, and it turned out to be the perfect place for a special occasion. We had reservations and were seated promptly once our whole party arrived. The restaurant is spacious, modern, and very clean, with a separate bar area that adds to the welcoming atmosphere.
Once we ordered our drinks and meals, our chef arrived with his cart and immediately started an energetic and entertaining hibachi performance. He showed off great knife skills, fun fire tricks, and kept everyone laughing and engaged. It was a lively show that the whole table enjoyed, especially the birthday girl.
The food was fresh, well-prepared, and served in generous portions, and the service throughout the evening was friendly and attentive. We ended the meal with strawberry ice cream for dessert, which was a nice way to wrap up the celebration.
Overall, Iron Chef delivered a fun, memorable, and high-quality experience. I highly recommend it for birthdays, family gatherings, or anyone who enjoys a great hibachi show in a clean and modern setting.

Food is ok not good enough to come back but ok.
Portions are small compared to other restaurants.
Be aware there is a $7 fee per chair even when your 2 year old doesn’t order.

I was very excited to try this place out. My experience was the worst… The waitress is by far the worst service I have gotten. I will make sure to tell all my family and friends to stay away. It is a joke that they charge $7 for my 9 month old to just sit here with us and not order he anything. They said it was a sitting charge. I payed over $200 for my bill yet they still wanted to charge me $7 for my kid to sit… STAY AWAY!!!

This place was our go-to for special occasions. We were disappointed in our last visit for our sons birthday. The food and cook were great, but when it came time for making it feel special for my sons birthday, the waitress asked him if he really wanted a drum and song. Like...making him feel like its a burden. Then asking if he really wants ice cream/candle or a cake. Like its a whole burden. The whole celebration experience is just not there anymore. Spend $250 and was disappointed.

This review is from someone who's eaten abroad in Japan and Korea. I ordered steak and chicken. The quality and tenderness of both meats were perfect. I wish there were more seasoning that were used but the flavor was still good. The yum yum sauce is top tier. The gentleman that prepared the meals was quick, cooked the steak exactly how I asked and threw in several jokes. Prices were reasonable. Be prepared to sit with others you dont know if you're not in a huge group.

You go for the show and not the food. It was okay, just not great. The entertainment factor is very high, but not worth the $300 for 6 people when looking at the food quality.

We love Iron Chef. Great experience for the family and the food is always amazing. I have Celiac Disease and they are always super accommodating, making sure my food is made first, showing me the sauces they are using to make me more comfortable and then making the rest of the dinner with regular ingredients.
