Jake's Burgers at Sterino Farms

Heard such good things about this place. Ordered 2 Jack deluxe burgers and was very disappointed. The patty is very thin and has no flavor plus it was all lettuce and huge cuts of onion and tomato also the burger was cold.

I've been a customer of Sterino Farms for a long time and have wanted to try this place. My partner and I split a hamburger after shopping for fall produce. The outdoor covered seating is quite nice, depending on the weather. The prices are reasonable and the burger was good.

It was good service. We ordered French fries 🍟. The french fries are wonderful. Very delicious and lots of them. That's all we got but would have loved to get more. The price was more than reasonable. 😊

I am surprised to see that this business has such a high rating after what I experienced today. It’s a rainy Saturday at the farm, there aren’t a lot of people here, just some brave families who decided to weather the gloom for an excursion at the pumpkin patch.

We were hungry so we decided to get food first, saw the food truck and decided to get the Jack with a pumpkin pie shake and small fries. I was a little put off that the young gentleman at the register was smacking his gum, but I didn’t think much of it because he was friendly. We waited for about five minutes and figured since there was a buzzer they give you that we could walk around. We managed to get our pumpkins, kettle corn, scones, apple cider, and load it all into our car while waiting for the food. By this point, it’s been 45 minutes, and we’ve noticed the same people who were standing there when we first ordered were STILL there. We got to talking with folks, and some of the had been there for almost an hour waiting for a single burger and fries. When we finally got our food after 53 minutes, the burger we got was cold. It looked so good when we opened it, but this patty is small and cold. The fries and fry sauce are good, and so is the shake, but this burger is cold and soggy.

At one point, people standing in front of the truck were telling people to order at their own risk because they would be waiting an hour for a single order. I do recognize there were a couple of large orders before all the others, and based on how warm the fries were and how cold the burgers were I do wonder if maybe they were waiting on fries to fulfill the order. Still, I can’t get past the fact that we waited an hour for a cold burger.

They are so slow!
There was one person in front of me when I got in line.
I only ordered two things from the menu
A chicken strip basket and a milk shake
And it took 30 minutes to receive my food,
If I would have known I would be waiting so long for something as simple as a chicken strip basket I would have gone to a sit down restaurant somewhere else.

The chicken strips were nothing like I’ve had before they were as flat as a pancake and more like a big chicken nugget but small for being a “chicken strip”

The milkshake was gross my 7 year old didn’t even like it and that says a lot

The only thing good were the fries

I love sterino farms but will never eat at Jake’s burgers again and waste my time and money.

This burger will probably change your life. I'm not for sure, but are you willing to have every other hamburger you ever eat, now be less good, because all you can do is think about Jake's burger. Why would you ever get another burger after this, I dunno maybe you like Burger King putting an ungodly amount of mayo on your burger... Maybe it really does it for you when McD's gives you a tiny patty that's been sitting for hours on a warming table. I DUNNO you do you. But if you want a hunk of tomato fresh off the vine, if you want a slab of lettuce so crispy you mistakingly think you were transformed into a rabbit. A burger so cheesy, chester Cheeto asked to be their mascot but he wasn't cheesy enough. A fresh juicy, saucy amazing burger, then come to Jake's.

The food was cold, they didn't put mayo or onion on my burger like I asked. Forgot my onion rings! Never again...

The price is amazing. The food is great and very fresh. Most likely made to order. I had a deluxe burger and a deluxe chicken burger. Super super tasty. Fries could be maybe a little bit better, but they are still great. 10/10 would recommend going

Had the lettuce wrap on the deluxe. Delicious 😋 and the fries are some of my favorites! Great value and service.
