At 5:08 we placed an order. We ordered pickup from Uber Eats and selected a 6-6:30 pickup window. Literally the moment my partner and son arrived for pick up at 6:04, Mazatlan cancelled our order. I asked to speak to the manager, who then repeatedly insisted he hadn't canceled it despite my having an assortment of evidence that he did. I get it's Friday and busy, but canceling an order as your customer stands there to pick it up is beyond unaccceptable. Extremely disappointed.

Had to seat ourselves, even though it says please wait to be seated. Nice bartender, but the drinks weren't very good unfortunately. Food wasn't bad though. Go for straight shots or something neat.

Restaurants is the best place to take the kids it’s relaxed & outside seating is beautiful. It’s also very clean inside. And of course the food is probably some of the best Mexican in the area. I had several dishes and I just enjoy this place the best!

Just experienced the most terrible service. My husband and I stopped by to grab a side of chips and salsa before a grad ceremony. Both ladies were friendly when they greeted us, but when our total came to $37 dollars and I questioned the pricing, I noticed she charged for 15oz of salsa so I guessed she charged for all catering sizes. I told her I wanted just a side for myself, and her response was “oh, you should have said that. “ I handed her the receipt back and said, “ok, have a good day. Goodbye.” Her response to that was “waste of my time.”

We love going here. The staff are so nice and accommodating. They're always so sweet when we bring our little kids in and are very engaging.

Waitress informed the wrong ingredient in a dish, tasted terrible. While in the dining room, we could hear very loud people, presumably drunk in the adjacent cantina.

These people are so disrespectful. They call me names and laughed at me cause they sent our order to the other location they made me feel stupid and then you want to laugh at me and call me names . This location has lost my business for good. The manager just blew me off and was rude.

The seafood enchiladas were the best I think I ever had. I ordered the ones with crab and had them add shrimp.

We did have a table of 20 plus I think and the service was fantastic!

Food was fantastic!

Next visit to Puyallup, I'm stopping back in for another bite.

Food was great, and we were checked on by multiple staff, multiple times. Almost TOO good of hospitality was given to us, haha. The only thing is atmosphere. It does lack a little- one booth side sat way higher than another and the people that were there the same time as us had some sort of drama (nothing to do with the restaurant getting 4 stars) that they were making everyones issue.
I would still come here again as the carne asada was spot on.

They have a great lunch menu with some affordable options. We always have a great meal here.
