What happen to this place? Use to be a favorite. It’s gone downhill. Unfortunately I will not be back. 2nd time food is dry, hard and cold. Like it’s sat all day. Need to find another place. Any suggestions?

It was absolutely delicious!! Their egg flower soup was superb, even my husband (who is not a fan of egg flower soup) loved it. The Katsu was fresh and crispy, the ginger dressing on the salad was sweet and creamy, the teriyaki sauce was perfect consistency and well balanced on flavor. Overall we were very impressed!

After going to Modoo for 20+ years and have been happy with the quality of the food that we have received we will no longer be going back. The last 2 times that we have ordered takeout the food has been less than satisfactory. My wife ordered Almond Chicken which turned out to be so spicy she couldn’t eat it. Our last order Honey Walnut Prawns and they were not butterflied our sautéed. The chicken teriyaki that I had ordered has been very fatty. Not sure if management has changed or they have a new chef but the quality has unfortunately gotten bad

Just being transparent as usual. Please take this in the right spirit. Ordered 2 dishes and some sides. Gyoza... over cooked. Chicken teriyaki rubbery, over marinated, over cooked. Ordered no salad on one dish and extra rice. Tablespoon sized extra rice. Salad= Ice burg lettuce and dressing. Even a shred of carrot for garnishing would be nice if they didnt want to use an inexpensive tomato wedge. Teriyaki sauce for your rice? Forget it. No sauce in either of my meals.Conclusion: Either something has changed in the last year with quality or ownership, or could be because recently I've been getting teriyaki from a place thats within walking distance from this place who's food is WAY better.. has set the bar very high. No names sorry. But i did a review on them.Modoo... hope you guys fix something. After going to the other place, i figured Id give modoo a shot again since they used to be really good. Not doing that again. I'ts back to the other place for me.

We’ve been going here for years … it’s always a great tasting meal and quality ingredients. The staff are great, getting orders correct and making the meals quickly.I’d recommend to friends and I’ll definitely eat here again.
