Excellent steak, great service

Well they made sure we will never set foot in there again. Went first time Christmas Eve. Place was packed but great service and food. Tonight went back. Food great, service was BAD. Finally got food, went to pay and server took off with my Credit Card to never be seen again. Finally had to go to the back to start asking if they got lost? Someone finally found the one who had my card. Telling me they were real busy. Well that is a problem that's self correcting. Treat people like this and they will not have to worry about busy. We will never be back.

The stakes we had are really good. Perfectly cooked. Best around actually. The blooming onion was greasy and the oil needs to be changed I think. Everything else was actually pretty awesome!

We were driving through town on our way up to Seattle from California and decided to stop at this outback for dinner because we wanted some meat.

I came in pretty high energy, and the host up front as well as the servers matched my enthusiasm and made me feel welcome.

We had a great time and a great meal, highly recommend.

Our server was Alexis C. She was so sweet. She took photos of me and my wife for our 40th anniversary. Hopefully we will see her next year

I'm giving the food review a 2 because of the lack of changing the oil more frequently. The service was fantastic, but the atmosphere I gave a 3, do to the womens powder room being closed, therefore sharing the mens room. The mens restroom was clean and presentable, but be sure to lock the door to keep out the opposite sex.
We joined the Puyallup Outback Restaurant the week before Thanksgiving. I ordered the deep fried shrimp dinner plate with a baked potato & wedge salad. The shrimp that was deep fried was soggy do to old oil. My partner had the steak dinner which included a loaded baker, and salad. His dinner was to his satisfaction.
On December 29th we ordered take-out. The blooming onion and deep fried mushrooms...once again the oil is over used and both the onion and the mushrooms were soggy. We love the Outback, with one exception, the lack of dirty oil. Please bring this issue to the attention of the store manager/cook, whom ever will address this concern. I would love to have the Blooming Onion fresh like it was when it was first introduced. Really miss that!!!

Ribs were burnt and the service was slow at the bar (and the place wasn't busy)

I came here with two other adults and one child around 1:30 p.m. We were seated right away, and our server came by shortly after to take our drink order. There isn’t an Outback close to where we live, so we made a point to visit this location since it’s the closest one to us.

When we arrived, it wasn’t very busy, but it started to fill up while we were waiting for our food. Unfortunately, we noticed that several tables who arrived after us were already being served. After about an hour, our server came back and let us know she had accidentally not sent our order to the kitchen on time. I did appreciate her honesty, but by that point we were already irritated and very hungry.

She brought us our salads, which helped curb our hunger a bit, but we were still frustrated. Our food finally arrived after well over an hour. The disappointing part is that the food was actually really good, which made the long wait even more frustrating, as it negatively affected the overall dining experience. The only item that was comped was our appetizer. They offered dessert, but we were not in the mood to wait for that too. Plus, I rarely order dessert at a restaurant. It seemed like a corporate way to move us along.

I understand that the food and service industry isn’t easy, and human error can happen anywhere. It’s just unfortunate that it impacted this experience so much. We did enjoy the ambiance and the food itself, and if we decide to return, we’ll likely check in sooner to make sure our order is on track so we don’t end up disappointed again.

My server was great. Blooming onion was fried in old grease. The drinks were all syrup. I wouldn't recommend outback to anyone. It's the cousin of Applebee's. Not the cleanest either.
