I had a really good experience at Picazos Tacozone. The al pastor tacos were the highlight. Each taco tasted freshly prepared and had great flavor. You can tell they take pride in what they make.
I also tried the carne asada and chorizo tacos. The carne asada was okay, maybe just lacking a little bit of seasoning, but the char on the meat definitely added some flavor. The steak was sliced very thin, which I actually liked. The chorizo was decent, though I wish it had just a little more flavor to really stand out.
The service was great. Our waitress was very nice, patient, and made the experience pleasant. Places like this always stand out to me because even though the restaurant is small, you can tell there’s a lot of love and effort put into it.
They also offer taco combos, but you do have to ask about them. Chips cost extra so I didn’t get to try them, but with the economy and rising food costs I understand why restaurants can’t always offer free chips anymore.
Overall, I really enjoyed my experience and would definitely recommend giving Picazos Tacozone a try. With just a little more flavor in a couple items it could easily be a 5 star spot. I’m looking forward to coming back and trying more things on the menu. 🌮

We’ve been coming to Taco Zone for years, and I can’t believe I’m just now writing this review. It’s hands down one of our favorite spots. The owner and staff always remember us when we walk in, which makes it feel less like a restaurant and more like seeing friends.
The menu has so many options, whether you’re in the mood for tacos, something hearty, or a fun drink to switch things up. I tried the ramen birria for the first time yesterday and it was absolutely amazing. Rich, flavorful, and completely worth the hype.
Consistently great food, welcoming people, and a menu that never gets boring. Taco Zone is a gem and we’ll keep coming back.

Greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. Happy hour was happening so we got the street taco platers. She got the peach mojitos w/ her tacos and I got the El Pastor tacos. Everything was amazing and I would highly recommend. Honestly, I eat a lot of mexican food and I have never gotten a bill that high. The bill and felt like I was on Mercer Island. Food was great but should not have been that expensive.
This is by far the best taco place in Puyallup. We stumbled across this place a couple years ago and to this day the owner continues to know us by face and knows exactly what we want to order. He is so kind, friendly always welcoming! If you are looking for authentic Mexican food and fine your local taco home look no further.

Every time we have been greeted warmly, treated wonderfully throughout the meal (very kind even when we have mispronounced menu items), received very attentive service, and the food has tasted delicious every single time! It has become a local favorite for us!
