Rainier Growlers

We were out in the area and decided to get out if the traffic. This place popped up on my Google maps so we swung in. Very friendly staff, we ordered a beer and pretzel at the bar. Cold beer hit the spot and the hot pretzel was awesome. I also took a look at their fine selection of beer in their coolers.

We didn't get food, but we did try a lot of tasty beer and cider! This place has a good selection in general, but I like dark beers and they had a lot to choose from. My wife enjoyed the limeade and mixed it with the dark cherry. She came home with a mixed growler they called super bad limeade.

Very good sandwiches and not skimpy on the fixings. Brewed root beer was very good and smooth. Good selection of ciders for those who cannot drink beer. Selection of beer was also a good list of options and types to keep you coming back to try new ones. Friendly day staff. The trivia leader did a great job and was overall a fun evening to hang out. Seating is hard wood chairs and stools so bring a pillow if you need softer seating for staying for events like trivia or others.

So I like root beer. I have had it all over the country and from so many makers. When I moved to the PNW, I started hearing a buzz about a particular brand...Snoqualmie Falls Brewing Company. A few restaurants have it on tap apparently. One for sure place to find it is at Rainier Growlers. After stuffing ourselves at a Chinese restaurant in the same shopping centre, we figured that root beer would be a fine thing to have for afters. This is easily the best root beer that I have ever had and my mates agree. Perfection in a glass or a can.

Rainier Growlers is a fun place with a great vibe. Seems popular with the locals. Awesome selection of beers, ciders, and of course this root beer. Decently priced and a nice place to unwind after a long day. Cheers!!

Love this spot! Huge beer selection and tons of double and triple IPAs. The panini sandwiches are very good as well, make sure to try the Italian!
