Its really disappointing that this is the only poke restaurant in Puyallup. Its really expensive and the portion sizes are really small for over $20! Not the friendliest staff either.

My bowl is usually filled to the lid… I paid 20 dollars I’m sad, if I wasn’t on my lunch break and had time to drive back I would. :(
Disgusting. I pulled a long hair out of my food that was mixed in and instantly lost my appetite. Besides the hair, my food BARELY had any sauce and the little coloring you see is from the soy sauce I had to add to give it some type of flavor. Save yourself.

Food is great, when they’re not out of stuff, which is 90% of the time. They never pick up, their DoorDash product availability is never updated, and they won’t respond to any online inquiries. Really good food, very bad overall business. Do better.

Showed up before official closing time and didn’t serve us. Door says 8pm, worker prefers to close early rather than get a sale.

I only go to this place because it’s the only Poke restaurant in South Hill (other than the grocery stores). I try to give this place a chance but every time I go it’s disappointing. It was $20 EACH and these are LARGE bowls which should include THREE proteins. I feel like a regular size is just as much fish as a large. Three proteins but with a tablespoon size serving. What a disappointment. Way overpriced. Like the other review said, the portions are inconsistent.

MY ADVICE FOR BOBA: GO TO MELODY BOBA HOUSE, NEXT TO FRED MEYER. ITS 4.6 STARS.
FOR FOOD: The staff is very stingy when it comes to servings. Your bowl will not be filled. You ask for extra on top of the half scoop they give you and they add a few pieces, EVEN FOR ONIONS!! 🤡 followed by an attitude! It’s like they want you to ask for more so you can get a full scoop without asking for more!!
The staff hangs out in the kitchen so you could be waiting a while unless you shout or wave. 🤡
There boba takes so long to make! It took 20 min to make a few boba. We were not in a hurry but dang, portions, wait time, and customer service are one star. There best solution is an apology.

I have never given a business a bad review. While that might seem hard to believe, my general practice is that instead of taking the time to write a bad review, I simply just don’t return to that establishment. This time, however, the incredibly unprofessional and rude service warrants the time.
I came here on a weekday afternoon and there was no one in line, and one table occupied with two guests that already had their food. There were two visible employees working in the kitchen. No one came out to serve me when I entered the restaurant, so after trying to wave through the window on the kitchen door to get an employee’s attention to no avail, I called the restaurant. When someone answered, I said “hi, could someone please come out to the counter? I’m waiting at the counter.” A young lady came out and said that she was sorry and asked if she could help me. I said, “oh no problem! Can I please order a medium poke bowl?” She said, “I can’t help you. I’m busy.” I asked if someone else can help me, and she said, “no one can help you; we are all busy.” I replied, “so I just can’t order any food here?” to which she replied “nope”. So I just left.
I don’t know if she was just mad because I called and asked her to come out, so she didn’t want to serve me, but that obviously isn’t the way to handle it. Not to mention that there was no one else in line and at least one other employee there, so I can’t imagine how busy she could have possibly been. And even if she was busy, a simple “I’ll be with you in just a moment” would suffice. An outright “no one can help you” is just absurd. Needless to say, I won’t be returning here.

This was my first time ever having a Poke Bowl. The system set up for putting your order together was very easily explained on the board.
I tried the Ahi for my protein-It was amazing -I went back the next week for another. I am a customer.

Recommended dishes: Brown Rice & 4 Protein Poke Bowl with Many Toppings
I recently visited a local poke spot and was disappointed with my experience. While enjoying my bowl, I discovered a piece of plastic in my toppings. When I mentioned this to the server, they brushed it off with a simple apology, which was disappointing.
Furthermore, I found the portion sizes to be lacking, especially when it came to toppings. I requested extra onion but only received a few small pieces, which was disappointing.
Overall, my visit to this poke spot left me feeling dissatisfied with the quality of service and portion sizes. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more satisfying dining experience.
