Sushi Ari Japanese Restaurant

In my years of living in Japan, I never once fell ill eating anything. I had unagi don here, and it's clear they're not keeping things fresh. I haven't been this sick in a long time. Please avoid. Safety issue here.

I stopped in to get takeout and am so happy I did because love this place so much. I’m a little scared how much I love this because now all my money is going to be going to them 😂 the service was amazing, the girl that helped me gave me great suggestions based on what I like. She served me some of the best miso soup I’ve ever had while I waited.

I was so excited to dig in when I got home that I forgot to take pics first so this is halfway through 😂 but oh my goodness I loved the chili oil edamame!!! Delicious thick fresh cuts of tuna sashimi, fresh creamy wasabi, and I’ve never had a square roll before but the tuna in a box is everything I love in a roll! Everything was so fresh and delicious. I’ll be going back sooner than I care to admit lol

Best sushi in the area. Hidden gem!!
However- last 2 times I've ordered on Uber Eats they didn't even start preparing my order until I arrived or my driver arrived. Seems like they're a bit disorganized.

Finally, a sushi place with amazing sushi, a fantastic atmosphere, and wonderful service! Not only will we be returning to dine in, but we are excited to utilize ordering out as there is no question about the quality of food we will receive.

🥴I ordered sushi online from this restaurant and it felt like they brought me slop, there was no crab inside and no shrimp, they just put the waste from them!

This sushi joint is decent i got the deluxe sushi 10 piece combo with miso soup and salad. Then ordered an additional roll but honestly the fish in the roll had a very fishy not fresh odor. The salad was amazing and the miso soup but hey how can u get those wrong u know.. and the 10 piece combo was decent.. my only huge complaint is I know my sushi and my flavors and even worse me having full culinary knowledge and a culinary degree holder the fish in the roll WAS NOT FRESH IT SMELLED BAD didn't eat it .. so would I recommend honestly NO

I’ve been here a few times with my husband, daughter, cousin and other family members. The restaurant is located off 39th Avenue across from Chik-fil-A and behind Mukja Korean Barbecue restaurant. Parking is limited in the front section of the restaurant. More parking at the left side of the building.

The employees are nice and welcoming. The interior is clean, not so bright, slightly dark interior and comfortable vibe.

We have ordered and tried the following:

-Bento box with beef and mixed tempura. (yummy😋)
-Dynamite roll (it’s ok)
-Crunch Shrimp roll (yummy😋)
-Seaweed salad (yummy😋)
-Epic Spicy Tuna roll (yummy😋)
-Rockstar roll (yummy😋)
-Mt Fuji roll (yummy😋)
-Ari roll (yummy😋)

Cody was amazing and very inviting, knowledgeable, kind and gracious. She was incredibly personable and although this part sounds a bit weird to me, my family would go back just to see her sunny disposition in this gray & overcast Washington weather. It was quite refreshing. My wife was thoroughly pleased and my children enjoyed meeting her, too. It was a bit slower, that day so she was only split between 4 groups but I doubt her attentiveness suffers from being busy. She was that impactful with her service.

We wish her and the staff at Sushi Ari all the success possible! They were all amazing!
