I rented this venue for a summer kickoff event. If we’re paying good money to rent your damn venue for a specific time you best believe as a business we should have the venue for those times. But to get kicked out early cause Amy “had to be somewhere” was unacceptable. If u can’t stay during the designated time then take the day off. Just because she had to be somewhere we had to clean up early, no compensation was added or refunded to us for the time left that was left at the venue. Sickening experience we will definitely not be back and we will definitely not recommend this place to any of our friends and family cause this business is a joke. I’m surprised yall are still operating and getting rent paid with this business structure. She even had the audacity to take our food and still be mean after. Good lord who hurt you Amy.

I rented this spot on a Saturday for my graduation party, and it was a pretty bad experience. From the moment we walked in, Amy, the manager, was super unwelcoming and rude. A smile would have been nice! Even though I had rented the space, Amy kept letting in public customers during our event, which was really disruptive. I asked to borrow a Sharpie that was on the counter, and she said no because she thought I wouldn’t give it back. She even told us we needed to leave at 7:35 pm, even though our rental was until 8 pm and we had already cleaned up. She locked everything up early, and when my niece forgot her phone inside, Amy ignored us knocking on the door until she finally opened it, rolling her eyes at us. When I asked if I could change the song she was playing, which was country music, to something else, it was clear she didn’t like the hip-hop I wanted to play. We had a liquor license for the party, but Amy kept watching us with this really negative energy, making us feel judged. Despite all this, I still offered her some food from our party, which she accepted, but she was still very mean and disrespectful. Honestly, she gave off major Karen vibes. Overall, I felt like she was being racist towards my guests and I. I do not recommend booking this place if Amy is the manager on duty. She really ruined what should have been a great celebration.

My friend and her family rented this spot out for her grad party over the weekend and the barista that was working was VERY UNWELCOMING AND RUDE. She had a stank face the entire time we were there and was so snarky. We had the option of staying until 9pm but she told us we had to leave before 8 because she had plans. The kicker is she had the nerve to help herself with some of the food we had but still continued to be rude. If you guys don’t want people to rent the space out then don’t allow events to be held there and take the money!!! Definitely would NOT come back after this experience!!!

They were so rude and pushy. We paid a lot of money to be on that space and the staff person kept mean mugging us. It made all of us uncomfortable and unwelcomed.

A beautiful idea! This coffee shop is ran by the church next door as a non profit to support the community. The prices are decent, drinks are good, and it has a nice, spacious and clean dining area. The biggest issue by far is getting to it. For some reason there is a large pad of concrete in front without line, that isn't parking. So if you need mobility parking, you are out of luck. This leaves only curb parking across the street from a high school. If you visit right before school starts or ends, then forget it. I went as part of a big group and parked a block away across a busy street. So though it shouldn't keep you from visiting, allow time for practicing your parallel parking skills.

Parking: Parallel street parking only across from a high school

They are supposed to be open from 7 to 4 today. But the doors are locked and it's dark. Not sure if they are still in business.

I hosted an event here and it was nice although the lady working was kind of... rigid... and the drinks were meh, it was still a nice spot for a baby shower!

What a great place to hang out!You can rent the shop for a private event and bring your decorations too which makes this place genuinely priceless!!! Honestly, more businesses should really think about following their lead.I love the games provided and I was pleasantly surprised to see a small stack of Bibles on a shelf...that alone, will keep me coming back as a dedicated customer for life. I love this place so much!Their drinks are full of flavor and they have multiple drinks and milk options for dietary needs. They are not watered down like some coffee shops do.I wish I'd have taken pics...so charming!

Had my nephews first birthday at this beautiful venue. The lady that had the place open for us was not welcoming at all since I walked into the shop to me and some of my family members which made us feel uncomfortable. The angry look on her face and rudeness lasted to the end of our stay. I hope she is not like this to all customers because she seems like she is in the wrong line of customer service. Odd thing was , she had Christian music playing on the TV but did not display any christian kindness or friendliness towards us which was odd. All I am saying is that it doesn’t hurt to show a smile , or say hello when meeting people , or even just making them feel welcome shouldn’t be too much to ask , I was also hoping she was not our barista, but unfortunately she was… I would come back to that coffee shop only if she wasn’t present at all. Other than that, that black stormy cloud with us lingering around, I would still recommend others to rent this beautiful clean venue. Thank you .
