There are several people who work at and patronize Top Gun Bar & Grill (near Puyallup) who I admire and am friendly with, but the leadership at this establishment has decided that it’s ok to pay bands nothing for performing, to run karaoke illegally from YouTube (with slow internet 😂), which is an ASCAP violation and a $10,000 fine per song (a subscription to Karafun karaoke software is $50/month), and that it’s perfectly fine to use politics and current events as an advertising shtick. The last time I was at Top Gun for a karaoke contest, it took the host over three hours to get through 16 songs. The last few contestants sang to a mostly empty bar and had no chance of getting enough votes to win. We were there almost 4 1/2 hours and our server stopped by the table maybe three or four times. I had to walk over to the bar every time I wanted a drink, only to have them tell me to talk to my server. 🙄 They relentlessly pander to the right because most of their clientele is right leaning white people and military types. They curate the comment sections on their posts and rarely is a critical comment allowed. Echo chambers like this are destroying public discourse, and people who maintain them are narcissistic at best. This is not intended to denigrate anyone’s political ideology, but the way Top Gun advertises is sleazy, IMO, and I feel that overall, this establishment lacks basic integrity.

Nice place adjacent to small airport for private planes. Fun to be there.

The drinks are missing one thing…. the actual alcohol! They’re super weak, I was shocked. And the pizza was very disappointing. The service and atmosphere were good.

Fun Bar & Grill on the Thun Field flight line in Puyallup - lots of space for groups, inside and outside seating, special events, tasty food, full service bar, friendly helpful staff and well-behaved guests, with a Top Gun theme. Check out the fried pickles and lineup of tasty burgers - one including an airplane flight!

Ordered fried chicken and taste freezer burnt coleslaw tasted sour order. A pizza came extremely dough mounted with cheese barely any sauce ordered garlic Parmesan fries and we were completely dry. Had mounds of garlic. Nothing like you would’ve expected look like sauerkraut. Only thing I would recommend ordering is the club sandwich and maybe a burger only appetizer we had was coconut. Shrimp was surprisingly decent.

Loved it! First time visiting. So nice to sit outside with the heater and watch the planes. Wonderful food and good prices. Totally agree with the no kids. Sometimes we need a break from kids, and plenty of places to take kids where they can see and touch planes.

Love the food and view!
Consistent great menu, fun atmosphere, outside dining is available to watch planes come and go along with a Beautiful mountain view! There is a small outdoor section for smoking/vaping with some fun games and an airport seated view bar. Service is great and accommodating but it can get really busy at times.

Biscuits and gravy breakfast with bacon and coffee was incredible! Just wish they had some sort of hot sauce, that would have made it Perfection but it was still great. Servers are super friendly and prompt! No children allowed apparently so don't try and come with littles
