Horrible service would never recommend anyone to go there
Only one roll at a time from the AYCE bar? Since when? Young sushi chef had a horrible attitude and said I couldn't even order a second roll until I had completed my first roll. I'll probably never return to this location. Horrible service with a horrible attitude.

My husband and I would regularly visit the Trappers in Puyallup. We would go there to celebrate accomplishments, nurse our disappointments, visit with friends and take family from out of town. Good days, bad days and everything in between. The trump roll was my husbands go to roll and I still crave the marvelous! The sea monster mai tai was always incredible as well as their local beer selection. My favorite servers were always Sandy and Rachel! Now, sitting on the other side of the US, I am desperately missing my go to Puyallup sushi spot. So Trappers… when are you branching out to the east coast? I need some good sushi!

Love their trump sushi!
Great sushi and dessert.
Please don’t come here for sushi. I could barely eat the sashimi/sushi. I just unwillingly took few bites cuz I was hungry and I paid for it. But such a waste of money. 1. Presentation was horrible - looked like someone ripped up the sushi and just plattered it on the plate and rice. 2. Rice had no flavor. 3. Sushi & sashimi quality was extremely low, worse than grocery sushi. It was not fresh at all. It seemed like it was left out in the room temperature for hours. I feel like I’m going to get stomach sick. Texture was so gross. Not melt in mouth but slimy and dry and warm. I wanted to spit it back out ew.
However I’m still giving them 2 stars for good friendly service, good happy hour deal for drinks and appetizers(non-sushi).
Also they charge 3% credit card fee to the customers.

Food okay. But customer service so bad and rude.
Loud music, busy. Two stars for no signage on credit card fees except in very very tiny writing on back of menus which I did not see until shown by the manager. Not one roll that has all sushi as every roll has cooked fish. Bad experience over all. Won’t be back.
Always a good choice for Sushi food is good and service is great.
Take out was horrible. The food tasted well, but it was placed in a large box suited for burger and fries? So the food was messy.

This was the best experience I’ve ever had!!!
Stay away from busy rush hour. If people HAVE to be sat at the bar then it's not the best time for the best experience. Do not take this post on the quality of the sushi. It's good if you're a good customer. Give grace and get what you pay for(sometimes more ) . The waitress/waiters are always kind and attentive. The best time to go is lunchtime around 1/2 pm on the weekdays.
The sushi is untraditional and good! There is inconsistency with the size of the long rolls depending on who makes it.

Great sushi, and super fast. Chefs were so nice!
great prices and amazing sushi chefs!!! If you go during happy hour, you can get almost any 3 rolls for $30 with the exception of a few. All you can eat is also well worth it if you plan to eat more than 2 rolls. We come here for our dates with my wife and are never disappointed with service and quality of sushi!!! Don't forget to sign up for their rewards!!! Points add up quick with sushi dollars spent lol
