I have come in several times in the past two years usually before or after doing some shopping the barista that helped me today 4/25/25 around 315 was rude and dry absolutely no happiness to her whatsoever when I asked a question it was attitude worst experience I ever have had coming here and it will be the last. Didn’t catch her name black hair Asian smaller build. Clearly this isn’t the line of business for her baristas are usually welcoming she was passive aggressive and the drink was nasty just to top it off .

Volcano is my favorite coffee shop hands down. They have the best homemade pumpkin flavoring and I love the shortbread too. The turkey Italian sandwich is soooo yummy!
It's a great place to work, their Wi-Fi is good, their playlists are good, and the staff is friendly and consistently makes great coffee!
Even though I don't live near there anymore, every single time I have a reason to go to South Hill, you can bet I'm stopping at Volcano.

I met up with a friend to have some coffee. The atmosphere was pleasant and not noisy. Staff were polite and professional, and I would go there again.

I am not a morning latte dude by any means but I do know coffee. This is the best coffee on the South Hill IMO ? and the girls all have dimples! So cute! My favorite is the peanut butter mocha frappe.
