This is my favorite coffee shop on the peninsula hands down. Exquisitely crafted espresso, delicious pastries and savory snacks and a cozy, colorful and light- filled atmosphere. It's not easy to find a place with great coffee that also gets the vibe just right, but Catkin has succeeded on all counts!

It’s been a month since my visit here & I still relish on my time here. From the delicious drinks, great company, and peaceful atmosphere this was a top, if not THE top, coffee shop on our west coast road trip.

Great hidden little gem. We always take a break here on our motorcycle adventures for some killer coffee in their quaint, cozy little slice of culture. Their music selection is always appreciated.

A delightful place to get the best coffee and pastries. And the owners are spectacular people.

Don’t go ANYWHERE ELSE IN THE AREA. This is it. If you’re in Port Townsend, Sequim, Port Angeles even, it is well worth it to come to Quilcene just for Catkin Coffee. I’ve come here two days in a row and have had two of the best cookies of my life along with two of the best lattes that had such a subtle, beautiful flavor that I had to buy a bag of their coffee. I’m just a visitor from New York, but I’m literally sitting in the parking lot looking up properties on Zillow, that’s how much I want to come here every day. So yes, stop in and order the brownie cookie (omg…..) and the ginger molasses peanut cookie (genius as I can never choose between a molasses cookie and a peanut butter cookie and would have never thought to put the two together!) and I’m sure everything else they do is 5 stars too and I hope you’ll try it all for me 🤍

I visited Catkin Coffee recently and I love the cute tranquil, beautifully decorated space they have. It’s very inviting and the staff were super nice and accommodating. I had the BEST iced vanilla oat milk latte!! I savored every sip!! The oatmeal raisin cookie and morning glory muffin were also delicious! Do yourself a favor and check this place out when in Quilcene!

They don’t just have the best coffee on the peninsula, they’re roasting on par with Heart Coffee in Portland and when you factor in the baked goods and local pottery espresso cups and tea and chocolate and great vibes and quiet patio and wonderful folks behind the counter.. it all adds up to just about the best spot for coffee in the PNW - and if it’s the best in the PNW, well then we might as well just call it the best in world 🏆🙌🤤☕️
