Rainier City Pizza & Burgers

My wife and I stopped here for a late lunch on a Sunday. I had the Deluxe Hamburger, my wife had the Chicken Burger, and we shared an order of fries. The meal was excellent. We especially enjoyed the buns with the burgers. The burgers had all the usual toppings, in good quantity. They tasted much like home style ones. The fries were hot, soft inside-crispy outside, and flavorful. They came with a dipping sauce (mustard & mayo?). Interestingly, ketchup and mustard were not offered. We paid at the cash register, as directed by a sign.

I give them four stars, but only because this is a burger/pizza place, not a full-service restaurant. They do a 5-star job of being a burger place!

I am giving 1 star because my French dip had barely any meat on it, it tasted overcooked. When I tried to call the phone was constantly busy. Very disappointed. When it first opened the service and food was great, the past few times I have come here it’s been just ok.

Absolutely amazing and wonderful people awesome service friendly. Or did the club sandwich one of the best club sandwiches I've had in a long time. Went back later and got a breakfast bagel was was not disappointed just as good as the club sandwich from the night before. I would put pictures up but we were too busy eating the good food

I'll give them another shot, but here's my first impression.

The pizza was burnt. The charcoal flavor of the crust and toppings overpowered the rest of everything else. The pepperoni was the worst of the two we ordered for takeout. I've had wood-fired pizza before, this was beyond that. The 2-topping pepperoni was also missing the other topping I ordered and paid for. Very disappointing.

I generously gave 4 stars for the atmosphere because 4 is my starting point. Anything below or above 4 stars is earned. The food earned 2 stars. It was edible, but not much else. I tried eating some the next day for leftovers, but it was thrown away.

The ONLY reason we will try them again is because they were super friendly, and that means a lot. Hopefully, it was just a bad day.

The vegetarian breakfast burrito with ham is the type of alterations I love to have permission to make at a restaurant.

I gave this place a shot and we had hair show up in the food. It happens. No big deal and they remade it. Figured we'd try this place again and drove about 20 miles to get there for a to go order. Even gave a tip just for pickup. Get home and two things are missing from the order. We called figuring they would just credit our card or something. We weren't nasty about it to them. Again stuff like this happens. but when we called they just said they couldn't do anything about it until a manager came in. They called back later and said we'd get a call the next day. Nothing. Weeks later and still waiting for a call. We will be writing this place off.

This restaurant was my reward for a twenty mile bike ride. After the jalapeño burger and tots I had there, the ride back to Olympia was considerably slower. Good service and they were busy.

The best Philly Cheesesteak I’ve ever had, and reasonably priced!
The sandwich was huge, and the meat was fresh and tender. The service was awesome as well. What more can I ask for? We left there happy and full!

I was on a trip back n fourth locally getting some much needed things for someone important to me....
On the way back I was really hungry and stopped in to this establishment.
Really nice place!
Clean and inviting the folks in there took care of me right away. Checked out the menu and there were a lot of good food to be had.... found what I wanted and ordered up some grub.
Burger dip with some onion rings and a chocolate shake.
Food was excellent to say the least!!... even tho I asked for no onions on my dip. The staff found out and quickly were wanting to redo it for me. I declined cause that's money the business looses out on and I'm big on mom n pops places.... the onion rings were huge and perfect.... shake was great with whipped cream on it.... that burger dip was massive...almost was like a foot long cut in half!.... tasty.....
I pigged out and was super full.
Lots of options to feast upon.. something for everyone.
In the end.... the people ... who were all so kind..gave me a discount on my meal and complimentary shake on them.
That folks is almost unheard of these days!

The experience was great and employees were awesome... super duper spot to have gone to and I will return to try more.
