Ordered take out classic chicken rice, and they did not pack any sauce with the meal. Unfortunately they were not willing to fix this issue at all which made the flavor poor and meal dry.

I found this place due to reading some great online reviews. At 11, I was the only one in, but it quickly filled up. If you're going to try it, then get here early. I got the classic chicken and rice. The portion was large, and it was very tasty. I'll come back if I'm ever in the area again!

I’ve tried countless chicken rice stalls over the years, but A Ma Chicken Rice truly stands out as one of the best experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, and they clearly take pride in both their food and how they treat their customers.
The chicken itself was incredibly tender and juicy — cooked to perfection with just the right balance of flavors. The skin was silky smooth, and every bite melted in my mouth. What impressed me most was how fresh everything tasted; you could tell a lot of care goes into sourcing and preparing the ingredients.
The rice was fragrant, fluffy, and not greasy at all, which is often where other places fall short. It had that signature chicken aroma that makes you want to keep going back for more. The chili sauce and ginger dip were absolutely spot on — spicy enough to give a kick, yet well-balanced so that it enhanced the chicken without overpowering it.
Portion sizes were generous for the price, and everything came neatly plated, showing the effort they put into presentation as well. The soup on the side was light but flavorful, a perfect complement to the meal.
What makes me really love this place is the consistency. I’ve been here a few times now, and every visit has been just as satisfying as the last. It’s clear that quality control and customer satisfaction are priorities for them.
If you’re a fan of chicken rice, this is a must-visit. And if you’ve never really understood why chicken rice is such a beloved dish, A Ma Chicken Rice will show you exactly why. Comfort food at its best — simple, honest, and absolutely delicious.
I’ll definitely be coming back regularly, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for authentic, top-quality chicken rice.

Rice is a bit dry this time. Sometimes they put less chicken. Sometimes are good. Try your luck.

Best chicken and rice around town! I drove 45mins for this and it was worth it. The chicken was tender and juicy. Rice was flavorful and soft. I love their fish sauce with ginger, it felt like a home cook meal. Noodle soup was solid as well! Service is spectacular! Our server saw that my sauce was running low and without me asking, she was on it and brought an extra side of sauce. 👌 I’m already planning another trip back.

It's definitely not your typical Asian dining establishment. You walk in and you see Singer sewing machines up front and various other nostalgic decorations. If you want a simple quality meal this is the place to go. I ordered the combo plate which had steamed chicken which was very simple but fragrant and tasty. The plate also included Fried Chicken like a katsu chicken. The plate came with rice, cucumbers a few vegetables and a delicious chicken broth. Portions were more than adequate for more than one person and a good value at $21 for quality food. Would definitely go back with somebody that I don't want to be seen in public with again

The prices here are absolutely absurd for the amount of food and zero service you get. It’s basically lightly seasoned chicken and rice for an insane $21+, a price they’ve increased $3 in the last 3 months.
