Ample beer selection. Has a good list of stock and rotating ones. Tried Juicy and Sessions IPAs. Both were just OK in taste, are a bit citrusy and moderately hoppy, making ‘em something bitter. Staff is hospitable; you can try different beers, if you choose to. Ambiance is nice, has kids play area and ample indoor seating with some outdoor seating too. A decent place to try and hang out.
Beer only. In a warehouse area.
Nice location with a good selection of beer ???. There is space in the back stage where you can have a party with music and dancing. Kids are allowed, they don't provide food. The bartender is super nice . We came accidentally because other breweries didn't allow kids and we had a good time. I would definitely come again.
This beer is so good! I got the Cascade Hwy IPA. It's a true west coast IPA - crisp, bitter, citrus-y but not the sweet kind, and delicious!
I sampled a porter (or stout) that was finished in port wine barrels and it was ?.
I highly recommend this tucked away local spot!
Big Block consistently brews some of the most tasty beers on the Eastside. They use real fruit in their fruit beers which makes a huge difference in the overall balance of flavors. Think you don't like pineapple beer? Well, I didn't either until I had it at the Big Block. They have a wide variety of beers to choose from and I have never had a bad one after many visits to their tap room. The consistency makes it fun to explore and try new beers. Don't worry, they will provide you a taster of any beer if you ask. The staff at Big Block are super friendly and they like to talk about beer. I've learned a lot by talking with them. You can tell they take great pride in their brewery, as they well should. In my opinion, this is the best brewery on the Eastside. They have two locations: Redmond and Sammamish. Check it out. You won't be disappointed.
The cherry sour was so good. Also super sweet people. Local family business and they do a lot good. Like Help fundraising. help small businesses of artisans, artists, makers and crafters.
Easy to find; plenty of parking. Good beer selection; each has a unique taste.

Very friendly host and great location.

New Redmond location, same great beers and good people as the original Sammamish location. Not an easy location to happen upon but worth the search.
Best beer selections!! Raspberry blond is their most popular. Great summer beer. Dark beers are great too!
When I spoke to the owner no thought to myself: "that's who I want to be when I grow up"
We're stopped in while visiting from Delaware. We love traveling and visiting new breweries so this place was no exception. It was being run by the manager who could not have been nicer. We ordered a flight and she explained each of the beers and even provided a kolsch as a palate cleanser for free. The beer was very good. If we lived in the area we would be here a lot. Check it out if you get the chance.
We stopped in yesterday. As road trippers from Delaware, we are always visiting local places when we can. Big Block is one of our favorite we have ever been to, and we have been to local breweries in 43 states. The presentation was great, the flight boxes are freaking awesome. The awesome woman behind the bar was one of the most personable, friendly, and knowledgeable bar specialists we have ever encountered. The beer was excellent. I particularly loved the Special Bitter. If you are anywhere near these amazing folks, do yourself a favor and STOP IN.
