I went to Blu Sardinia last month and was not very impressed with the service or the food. A couple came in and cut us in line while we were waiting to be sat and the hostess sat them first despite having arrived first and having a reservation. After being sat, I found the area of the restaurant a bit uncleaned with webs and actually found a spider on the wall closest to where my girlfriend was sat. Tried to find a waiter to assist, but none were around so I had to take matters into my own hands and dispose of the spider myself. After waiting for our food, we found it not that impressive compared to other places we've been to locally that are cheaper than this restaurant.

I haven't really experienced internally the atmosphere, so I can't say, but from the outside, Why would I need to mind it if I'm not a patron? As for other patrons... All I can say is for all businesses, don't be selective and in waiting for your hidden rule of "The right to refuse service" to those so called doing wrong or that you simply don't like. Why have issues? But externally, I enjoy the overall structure, the setup, Even the bar area has a relaxed atmosphere that I don't mind at all. Employment matters are not on the table for discussion, employers also have to make compromises, directly. My survival isn't dependent on any, moreso as they are dependent on the system keeping THEM in a pseudo control.I can't really say much for the customers as most of them make me cringe, hard. And it has been a major trend amongst many asian and Euro tech workers to bully individuals into reviews when someone gets mad or likes what they read, a hand out for employment writing reviews, isn't hard. Oh wait... System says HSD are needed? Well I can go for more entertaining then.I will Only ever, when I feel like it, Review honestly to how I think and see it, I'm not being cut checks to lie, and couldn't be swayed to. So just keep it honest in dealings and business with me.Wheelchair accessibility: Smart construction is a rare sight. It wasn't long of a walk for the wheelchair ramp, as most have a trend of ridiculous lengths to keep wheelchair users away or ashamed.

I still not sure should I recommend this place or not to my friends. On one hand - the place is nice, they have a live music, food is good, service is not slow... BUT!!! We had a really dangerous experience because of my husband allergy. Yoy notified our waiter about the allergy, ask him to double check all of our order, you were assured that we shouldn't be worry. Likely, I tried the meal first - there were allergen definitely. I asked the waiter again, he came back and said "Such a surprise! Kitchen team revealed that there is an ingredient that cause the allergy reaction. They said - it just a small amount of it, so not a big deal. Excuse me??? How could any of the restaurant team be so naive, do they not familiar what is anaphylactic shock and how dangerous is it? I think it is negligence. Please be aware! To management: please educate your employees.

This was the first time eating there, wonderful experience. We had the caprese chicken and gnocchi. Both were excellent. We were there at lunch, great service and ambiance, not too noisy.

What a lovely experience. We got a reservation here a few hours beforehand. Parking was super easy, there’s a big lot right outside. We walked in and found out there was a violinist playing in the restaurant! She was wonderful, she even played one of our favorite songs. We arrived about half an hour before our reservation and they were luckily able to seat us right away. The service was very good and we had several people taking care of us and periodically checking in.The atmosphere was great, very peaceful even with so many people. The crowd was mostly older (~35-60) well dressed people, I assume out for date night. My fiancée and I talk pretty softly at restaurants as not to disturb our neighbors and our neighbors were just as quiet as us, so this place has people with respect and social etiquette. I will say this place has the tables crammed in, I’m plus size and I had to weave around the room to get to my chair in the back and then actually move the table so I could fit in between to get to the booth, which was very unfortunate and a bit embarrassing. The food was fabulous. Im a vegetarian and there were a fair number of vegetarian dishes, although most of those lacked creativity. I’d love to see more inspired vegetarian options. We had the flatbread with roasted garlic and goat cheese and the risotto mozzarella balls to start. Both were great, tasted very fresh. The red sauce with the risotto balls was outstanding, warm and rich with a kick to it. The drinks were delicious, I got their autumn respite and it was particularly good and a somewhat unique flavor combination. I had the pesto pasta for dinner and although the sauce was quite runny it had great flavor. Restaurant pestos often disappoint but this one was fresh and delicate. They got my order wrong the first time but corrected it pretty quickly, which I was thankful for since my fiancée won’t begin eating without me. He got the carbonara which he said was also quite good. For dessert we got the gelato and sorbet trio and it was hands down the best pistachio gelato I’ve ever had, which happens to be my favorite. They were out of the coconut, my second favorite, which was disappointing. They were also out of the red meat option, which my fiancée really wanted, so that was also quite disappointing, as he doesn’t care for pasta generally and this was one of the few mains without it. I had the homemade arancella which was fabulous and he got a grappa that happened to be one of his favorites. The wine was so good too.Throughout the night we had 3 different staff checking in on us so we never sat there waiting for help. Each one of them was wonderful but not overbearing. It genuinely seemed like they didn’t mind (dare I say enjoyed?) the work atmosphere. They didn’t rush the bill either. We spent about an hour and a half here.As people who usually go out in Seattle, we were shocked that the place was nearly cleared out by 815, but I imagine is due to the older clientele they were serving that night and the general calmness of the Redmond region.Overall, the meal was exceptional. We rarely find ourselves in Redmond and we don’t often go to a place twice unless it’s VERY good but I will be coming back and I eagerly await another violin date night at Blue Sardinia. I highly recommend this place, even if you have to drive out from Seattle.

I tried a Sardinian chicken dish. It was a little weak in flavor, and I'm not a strong user of seasonings, but some use of spices was weak to me, but I wanted an authentic dish from Sardinia, symbolic of a dish made and served in Sardinia. I believe I got it. I'm 1% Sardinian! I'm not a jet setter, but feel I got an authentic recipe from there. The other dishes in my party were also generous in portions. The Antipasto Plate was great looking and tasted great given some to share. The Bolognese dish was also great from another's order. The lemon like Sorbet/Gelato was refreshing as a nice dessert tho rather small, one scoop for $10. While we all enjoy wine, the meal price with one glass of wine for me at $12, Eroica Riesling ?, Columbia Valley, Washington(?) among the three of us, was just right on our pockets for the night out. Sorry, rare of me, there are no photos.$$$Parking: There is a rise, but door clearance isn't as wide, I believe.Wheelchair accessibility: Wheel chair accessibility is, but tight even in the bathroom for males.

Food is a balance of flavor, the balance here is good but the intensity, at least for my dish ("little bundles") was off the scale. Wind it back a little, less is sometimes more, I want to experience the flavors, not be hit over the head with them.

The restaurant seemed to be way understaffed, which reflected in the time to check in, waiting in the cold lobby, and the time it took (about 20 after being seated) to have someone start to wait our table. The food was ok, but overpriced, unfortunately.

Kitchen had issues. No dressing on our Caesar salads. Forgot the anchovies that were requested on side. (1) entree was wrong. Kitchen ended up sending us with a to go box of the correct entree which was eaten later that night!

My wife and have been regular customers for several years, and it's on our short-list of places to take friends who come from out-of-town. The "little bundles" might be the most delicious main course ever.

An excellent Italian restaurant located in a quiet redmond strip mall. I am surprised to see a mostly empty restaurant. The server recommended my cocktail drink “euphoria” that indeed made me feel euphoria. Each food we ordered was all beyond our expectations.
