We came in as soon as it opens. The restaurant was quickly filled up!
The waiters are very enthusiastic. Great service!
The hotpot came with rice and a drink. Overall experience was awesome! The pickle and lamb soup was the only disappointment as the soup was so sweet. Maybe it was Taiwanese authentic.

If I can give negative points I’ll give it to their service for sure. They assume everyone has a bad intention of stealing even if you’re a legit customer. I do like their food, but I won’t go their Redmond store again. Bellevue one is fine.
I ordered DoorDash pickup today from this place. When I was at the store, I saw my order was on the self pickup shelf right next to the entrance, so I picked up my order. When I was about to leave the store, a waiter called me and asked me in a rude way that do not pick up the order from the self pickup shelf without checking with him even if it is my order. I was like, you shouldn’t put the pickup orders on the self pickup shelf next to the entrance if you want people to check with you beforehand. He became even ruder, and said you can’t pick up the order no matter where I put it. Everything above was in Chinese, I’m doing people a favor by translating it in English.
Shame, being rude to your own kind. It was an unpleasant experience, and I forgot to ask his name.

Walked in and walked out. The place smelled like burnt gas and there was a lot of condensation. I would have preferred a stronger exhaust system considering all the combustion.
I got fooled by the positive reviews here, but first of all, they don't have a true nonspicy option for people who cannot eat spicy food. So I ended up having to abandon all broth and ate only 1/3 of my pot. It was also served cold, and the server didn't seem to speak English well enough for my friends and I to place our orders so my friend had to resort to Chinese.
The store is also incredibly tiny and dim, and I highly regret going here. It won't happen again, since their menu is just lying to customers.

Both my wife and I had stomach pain after eating the house special hot soup. They should have better food quality control!

Rude waitress
Close at 8pm. Arrived at 7:20pm and didn’t let you in.
Most of the time there is only a short wait and almost always can find parking. Go during lunch to get a free red/green tea drink. My kids love this location.

The server Charlie was pushy and rude. Asked us why we are downloading the BP app before meal, and he kept pushing us to order immediately - well, it was my personal business and my right to download whatever I like! Entire meal he is giving us attitudes- we are so scared of him. We had good experience with the other server but not this Charlie- if you hate your job just quit, no need to take it out on customers.

Food is great as with all Boiling Points, but this one has a really long wait due to limited seating and isn’t open for a big window
Operations can definitely be optimized to be more efficient, but we love BP’s food for sure
