Love the food here. It's authentic and tasty. However, fried foods like fried milk custard, sometimes (not everytime), have old oil taste. Overall, the restaurant is clean and cute. The sea bass is the best. If you need side dish to eat with rice, I recommend century egg one.

Ate there by myself a couple of days ago. I enjoyed it, more than enough to eat in a big bowl; somewhat like a spicy hotpot, just no burner.I saw large groups eating from huge bowls, so it's a good place for groups of friends. The food came quickly and the service was excellent, give it a shot, you'll like it. The bathroom was clean.Kid-friendliness: They have highchairs for kidsParking: Lots of free parking

Decided to come here when my family was visiting and the minute I stepped in, I knew we were in for the real deal. The one wait staff mostly only spoke Chinese and that was reflected in their customers as well. We arrived on a Friday just before 7 PM and all the tables were already full; we actually lucked out and a party had just left, but a line started to form behind us. I would say the price and value is pretty proportionate. On top of that, their offerings are unique and absolutely worth trying. Classic Spicy Sour Tilapia (4.5/5): Huge fan of this dish. The fish is so tender and I'm a s***** for tangy broths. The spice is manageable, but I would probably recommend a mild to medium. Fried Milk Custard (4.25/5): Imagine a perfectly crisp, fried soft tofu with the flavor profile of sweet custard. I don't think I've ever seen this on a menu before and I loved it. Sticky Rice Cake (4/5): If you like mochi, you'll love this. In essence, it's deep fried mochi with a thick sugar syrup you can dip them in. It didn't blow my mind, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this place if you're looking to impress someone; they only use disposable utensils and red solo cups. However, if you're looking for an authentic, fun food experience, this is a great spot.

Oh god. I spent 5 years in my life in Portland and can’t find this kind of restaurant. I miss it so much!!! Obviously it doesn’t taste like what I have in China but, yes, they are similar and at least meet my need :). Just so you know they don’t have AC so it could be really hot. Be careful!

I placed an order online on Sunday noon and went over to pick it up. The store was close with sigh saying "out of fish". They accept my online order while there is no one in store. Online order already charge my card, and next day I call the store asking for refund, they don't know how to process the refund. Next day they call me and told me they will issue a refund, but one month later, there is no refund at all.

No, you can seat assured. This is not the authentic tai er Suan Cai (Sauerkraut) Yu (fish) popular in China. They use different fish, different Suan Cai and almost different everything. The original Suan Cai Yu popular in China has very large, very thick and very flavory Suan Cai in the soup. Indeed the Suan Cai tastes better than Fish. But here, it is different . I wonder why don't anyone make those Suan Cai in the states, building a large cabbage and fermenting farm, also grow those fishes in their pond. Probably just not economic because too few consumers. Just mediocre, and expensive too. Won't come back.

Friendly staff and amazing execution on dishes, just to save you some time finish reading this review. The set is a steal which offer you your choice of sauerkraut fish and two appetizers, rice and youtiao(fried dough). Definitely would recommend for good friends who would appreciate a pleasing dinning environment for authentic sauerkraut fish.

Great flavors and everything we ordered are decent. My favorite today is the sauce from the cured eggs plus the clear potato noodles!

We ordered the medium sauerkraut fish and it is pretty sufficient for party of three. It's pretty tasty!! The restaurant had pretty good social distancing and we feel safe while enjoying our tasty lunch. They also offered combo for two, three and four. Definitely will come again.

That’s one of the most authentic Chinese restaurant in the great Seattle area. The beef shank appetiser comes with diced hot peppers. The sauerkraut fish is very rich in flavour and comes with many sides. The soup is sour and spicy which is fantastic for soup soaked fried dough.

Very tasty fish, in a pretty authentic Chinese sauce/flavoring. Very reasonably priced and will definitely go back again.
