Emerald City Smoothie - Redmond

On Tuesday, March 2025, at 7:50 PM, I purchased two smoothies, açaí and mango, size 24 oz. They were mostly ice, with a very bad taste. I didn’t return them because the store was already closed. I don’t recommend buying there when they are about to close.

Good, but amount of issues I run into with time to make order (still haven’t started smoothie 10 minute after pickup time) or ingredient substitution/off recipe is just too high.

I am not sure what it is that I received. I got DoorDash delivery of the Pb&j smoothie. This is my regular smoothie that I have gotten several times at many different emerald city smoothie locations. I added two supplements/boosters to my smoothie which is also a regular thing for me. The smoothie is and always has been bright purple the numerous times I’ve ordered it. The smoothie I received was grey/brown with hints of green. I’m not sure what happened or what this smoothie is but I did not feel comfortable drinking it.

They put freezer burnt blueberry/blackberry on my acai bowl and overall not fresh and not the premium I paid for..

The smoothies are good but lack quality consistency between visits. I tip regularly and not once have received a thank you for a tip. Staff are very entitled.

I liked the smoothies but it would be good to get more staff working in the busiest times as service was slow. There was also one miserable server there. Maybe due to being alone and overworked.

The wait was about 20 minutes but the shakes were the same as in any other Emerald City location.

I never write reviews but I had a really exceptional time today at ECS in Redmond today, I didn’t catch her name but the girl with glasses working by herself in the Excision hoodie was super kind and friendly, and made the most delicious smoothies I’ve ever had from any ECS location (It was the chocolate low carb w/peanut butter and it tasted like a legit tagalong cookie, bf got strawberry banana and it was deliciously strawberry forward) will definitely be returning here!

We arrived at the place and entered, there were 5 minutes left before closing and the lady did not want to serve us and we wanted 5 milkshakes! In the end none of them did and she told us that she could no longer serve us! How bad for the business that hires unfriendly and unfriendly people, benefiting the premises and their income! It's too bad that these types of employees exist!

The venue offers a spacious seating area and ample parking. The service is polite, though it lacks warmth and enthusiasm. Initially, I aimed to be understanding, acknowledging that not everyone has their best day or needs to be at their peak performance at all times. However, I believe a simple smile and greeting can significantly enhance the experience. I've decided to modify my review to more accurately reflect my feelings. We normally visit the Bellevue location, and this was my first time choosing this particular venue. Based on my experience, I will most likely be returning to Bellevue in the future.
