Closed and renamed. At least the owners and staff are nicer. Now called Dong Tim Chun's
My favorite place for Americanized Chinese food. The wife likes the Sweet and Sour Pork. Service can be a little slow due to the impact of takeout orders. Staff very friendly at this family owned establishment.
Just opened our to go order to find 10 shrimp for an entree. At my current calculation we paid $1.50 per shrimp. This is so d**** I am disappointed in the quality, and frankly the QUANTITY of food we just got. I have ordered this meal at many different restaurants and there was always enough for 2 and leftovers. NOT WORTH THE PRICE. DON'T FALL FOR IT.
i take it that being in downtown Redmond is the reason why the food is more expensive and the portions are much, much smaller. This is definitely not a family size restaurant and pretty much every dish you'll have is a much smaller in comparison to a typical Chinese restaurant. To give you an example a walnut shrimp dish at the cost of $16 has only 10 average size shrimp, not exactly enough to fill 2 adults. The food quality is average and so in combination with cost and size my verdict is 2 stars. For me personally i won't be visiting the place again.
This has been a favorite restaurant of mine, and my friends, since I moved to the area about 15 years ago. The food is always tasty and the service is always friendly and prompt. The cuisine and decor is in the same vein as a PF Chang's, but less pricey, less busy, and with more personable service. If I'm going to a movie at the nearby theater, I'll usually try to go to this restaurant beforehand.
Good food and not usually hard to get in. Quite pricey though.
Overpriced subpar spent $8 + tax for 2 hot teas...inattentive service and patronizing management...good luck with that one...it wasn't worth any stars, but apparently i gave to give it one...woooowww on record i give this no stars; >
Excellent food here! The lightest battering & flavorful dishes. Rainbow chicken is amazing! Great chicken fried rice too.
Order took forever, everyone's food came out at different times. By the time one person was finished another hadn't started. To top it off my meal came with battered deep fried chicken, even though the menu just said chicken stir fried. After starving and waiting, I couldn't eat because I didn't want to wait another half an hour. Check came, we turned back both entrees without eating, and they charged for both. Good way to lose customers for life over $30.
Probably the best Chinese food I've had in a long time!

This is one of my favorites! Amazing food, kind staff, and an awesome family that owns it! The mother still recognized me after 3 years away at college, and remembered my favorite!
The restaurant is always understaffed and you will see one waiter running around most of the times. Got golden prawns for apps and we barely got 5 pieces for 11 bucks. That's a rip off :(. To add insult to the injury, the prawns were very oily. The ambience is okay but the kitchen is a part of dining area and you will hear the noises from the kitchen. The food quality is not so great. The only positive about this place is the location in redmond town center. Would not visit again. There are better places in the neighborhood for the lower price.
We used to come here fairly often on our lunch rotation since I work nearby. The food is very good, but the service has really gone downhill lately. They aren't usually very busy but whenever we eat there lately the food has taken a long time to get to us despite the restaurant not even close to being full. This most recent time I went with a coworker and its the last time I will ever go. We sat at a table just after a large group had been seated around the giant table in the center of the restaurant. It was just the two of us but that table had probably 15 people. But they were there first. We ordered our lunch and the soup came out fairly quickly. That was fine. But then we began waiting for the meal and it took for ever! The large table got its food very slowly over the next 45 minutes, one dish at a time maybe with a few minutes in between each. They were clearly upset by this but my friend and I knew we wouldn't get ours until they got all their food. Finally after an hour (mind you this is our lunch break from work) we got our food and it was very tasty as always. But one hour is way too long to wait when you have limited time. The worst part, however, was that at the end of the meal I was pretty miffed so i left only $1 for the tip and we left. When i checked my credit card statement a few days later i noticed the charge to the card for this meal was $4 more than i specified. They gave themselves a bigger tip! This is an absolute deal breaker and I called the credit card company to refund the difference which they did without issue. Still that is unacceptable in my book and I will NEVER go to this restaurant ever again.
I wasn't impressed the food portions are small. The Food was mediocre and they try to charge extra for anything and everything including sweet and sour sauce
Called them today to pickup some food. The lady over the phone patiently listened to my order, knew what i was looking for and offered that i get Singapore Fried Rice instead -- this is exactly what i was looking for. When i went in, the food looked so good, i ate it right there. Place looks so open and airy and the lady was so nice - i cant wait to go there again with my entire family, all 8 of us.
