J. Michael's Pub & Eatery

I was in Seattle visiting from Portland and a friend mentioned the Bob Ross Painting Night they were starting. We had such a great time! The staff was attentive and friendly, the atmosphere was fantastic, the food was great, and we had a ton of fun painting. I hope to visit again next time I am in the area!

Lets face it, no great story started with someone eating a salad. If you were to envision the perfect dive bar that the friendly locals hang out, this is it. The cold beers ( that are colder than your Ex's heart)and exotic drinks taste like you are not going to work tomorrow. There is also plenty of entertainment from pool tables and pull tabs to Karaoke on Saturdays -where some of the patrons become a "vocal point". ( see what I did there?) I came in suffering from painful sobriety and the friendly staff and regular patrons were able to help me forget my troubles for a while. They even have free popcorn. Who doesn't love that ? Great Place, I will be back

Great food, fun atmosphere, and an amazing host. If you get a chance go to one of their event nights. The MC is very entertaining.

Parking: The large lot across the street, as well as behind the pub, are private and you will likely get towed. There are minimal parallel spots in front and angled parking by the Ben Franklins. The large lot past the cross walk will likely be your best bet, even if it's a short walk.

Every Wednesday night, they have trivia. They also have open mic comedy nights and karaoke. Many, many screens to watch the games from. The atmosphere is definitely fun. Everyone is welcomed don't get me wrong, they have their locals / regulars, but those of us visiting for the first time immediately become part of the family. The bartenders are great. Shout out to my favorite bartender, Rachel!! They have a great variety of drinks and food options. You have to try their chicken Ceasar Wrap! There is plenty of seatting, a couple of pool tables, and of course the jukebox, fun fact they have an app you can use to control the jukebox and there is plenty of parking. Highly recommend you stop by for a drink or two.
