The order was wrong. It was dropped off by the waitress, and I never saw her again till it was time for the check. I ordered a Luckey burger and chips but was served leftover soggy old fries and a burger that was just slapped together.

Edit based on the response:
I did bring it to the attention of the waitress on closing out. While she discounted the bill a small bit after a bit of a push, there was no offer to fix it. Her response was that's the way it is. She really didn't care. It felt like it was more of a rush to get us out then anything.

Come here for dinner almost every night. I work as a partner at a general contracting business and don't have the time or energy to really cook when I get home after a workday.

The food is great, drinks rock, and servers are all awesome and very kind.

If you just get food you're looking at 20-30 bucks in and out, if you get food and a drink or two you're looking at $30-50 + tip.

Definitely one of my top places in Redmond.

We came here for a quick lunch on Sunday and the ambiance + service was welcoming. However, I did not like the Lucky burger I got because it was a slippery mess so it was hard to eat it especially with the tomatoes that kept trying to escape. I mean the patty was not seared all around and the onions were not caramelized. I probably should have just come here to watch the game and drink beer 😐.

Large menu with some traditional Irish fare as well as pub classics. We came with a large group, and they offered to break down each person's individual tabs without us even asking. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the service was great. We will be back again.

Went to Ireland earlier this year, this place reminds me a lot of pubs there. Guiness was nicely poured. Food was good.

We highly recommend JJ's!! We held a pre-wedding celebration event for our daughter and Irish husband. This included 45 family and friends visiting from Ireland. Paul and Cristina took outstanding care of us--excellent service all around! We reserved the back corner and the fireplace, which was plenty of room for our party. The food was delicious and everything was as ordered (there were even some leftovers we enjoyed the next week!). A truly fantastic time was had by all of the Irish travelers and our local guests. The group lingered on for hours chatting. Note: Paul is responsive to all questions when planning the event, no matter how small, and doesn't try to oversell anything (he suggested I hold off ordering even more food before the event started...he was correct). This is a party our entire family enjoyed! Thank you JJs.

If you like good food and drink and a decent Irish pub feel, go somewhere else. Sure, they play the stereotypical Irish music and they pour a decent pint, but a pint of Guinness is $9. One more pint and you could have bought a 8 pack from a grocery store. To make matters worse, the food is not good at all. I only buy fries because they are predictable. These are the elements that can make a public house awesome or disappointing and JJ's provides the latter. Sorry JJ's, you put your profits above your clients and some of us won't be back.

The gentleman who greeted us was very charming and welcoming. We decided to sit at the bar to watch the upcoming soccer match.

The bartender (didn't catch his name but he was tall, kind of redheaded and wore glasses) was just great. Very polite and attentive, but never too attentive.

We both had the Impossible burger with steak fries (I think; my husband asked what the difference was between the steak fries and the house fries and we ended up with the "wider" of the two).

The fries could have spent another 30 seconds or so in the fryer, but they were pretty good. Not what I would call steak fries, which to me are more like wedges with the skin left on. These were wide and kinda flat rectangles.

The burger had two nice slices of tomato and lettuce, and some sliced avocado. I would've liked some onion, too. The plate also came with a large spear of pickle.

Our only quibble is that the burger patty was small, just five ounces. We've had Impossible burgers in many pubs and restaurants in Wash. and in other states, and have never gotten one so small. For $24, we expect an 8 ounce. Just sayin'.

Other than that, it's a great place. The staff the day we were there were working really, really hard, but always maintained a friendly demeanor.

And there's loads of free parking in the parking lot it shares with other businesses.

If we're ever back that way again, we'd definitely go back!

I always enjoy a bit of comfort food here. My favorite that is unique to JJ's is their Irish stew with a bit of soda bread. The music is a mix of pop and celtic, they have snugs and regular tables, and the decor is very celtic. The whiskey selection is good, and the folks working there have always been friendly and kind. Parking is easy and they even have a patio for nice summer evenings.
