Kizuki Ramen & Izakaya (Redmond)

I stopped by to grab some food to go and I figured it would take some time but to my surprise my order was ready in 3 mins and the gentleman at the front was a stand up guy! They packaged my food in a very nice reusable bag and it tasted excellent! I absolutely love this place! The staff is always fantastic and the ramen always tastes amazing!

YES.
It's hard to find a place that does proper ramen. A lot of Ramen shops are not ran by Japanese folk or their families in the US, and you can tell. This place, which has multiple locations in Japan, is AMAZING. I mean, if you can feel a gentle taste of bonito in your broth, you know you're in the right place.

I’m still so surprised that people love this place. I’ve tried various types of their ramen, including “spicy” today which was 0% spicy and infact really quite bland. The meat was tough, the broth was bland, the bamboo shoots and greens never got soft and were tossed in the trash. I just don’t quite get the hype I guess.

I could really enjoy the Kizuki Ramen! This is my third visit to Kizuki.I love shoyu-taste the best! It is simple, but it always makes me happy with the deep taste at the same time!

I ordered the Hakata ramen and asked for a free substitute, swap bean sprouts for bamboo shoot.

It comes with a little tray that has some spicy sauce and onions?

I added the whole tray and it gave the ramen a little kick but didn't make it that spicy.

I can not stress how amazing this place it. I walk 2 miles to go here and it is worth it every time. When ever I visit Redmond this is a must stop for me. Amazing food, great drinks, and great environment. It felt like I was transported to Japan. Portions are perfect.
