Takes forever to get the food. 2:30pm, not a lot of customers inside. Still have to wait for more 30mins to fry rices ready .If you are hungry. Don’t come here

Loved the nasi lemak with rendang, the curry was rich and flavorful, with tender chunks of beef.
Enjoyed the yam ring, was as good as those in Singapore.

Some of the food was pretty good, I just had a bad experience because the noodles I got came with about 3 pieces of bite sized meat and that's it. My noodles were also very oily and I didn't really like it. Besides that, they almost forgot to bring me my dish. On a happier note, the lamb and the chicken are great

Long wait (45min). The party next to us left since the service was slow. We were just about to leave too. Won't be back.

As a Bak Kut Teh lover I was disappointed. Our son liked the noodles/wonton combo.

We ordered 2 dishes. The hainan chicken was just so-so. The stir-fries noodles was good.

Great food, but super slow service. We waited 40 minutes for a simple tofu dish with raw cucumbers, and 50 minutes for a rice noodle dish with curry. Not worth the wait

I'm not sure what Malaysian food is supposed to taste like, everything I've had before is always some sort of asian mixture. We got the indian bread, chicken satay, water spinach, and beef chow fun. I put the chicken in the bread and used both dipping sauces and so the bread was salty and the chicken was sweet but I actually think they went well together. The vegetable were standard but the chow fun was really oily even though it was good. But my friend said it was an unfair review because we didn't try any of their specialities like the hainanese chicken or the nasi lemak so I'll be back to try those and give an updated opinion.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining at Malay Satay Hut in Bellevue. Upon arrival, we requested the Halal menu, which was thoughtfully provided as a separate offering from the standard menu—a much-appreciated consideration for guests with specific dietary needs.

For our meal, we ordered the Nasi Goreng—a fragrant and flavorful fried rice dish prepared with prawns and Halal chicken. It was exceptionally well-balanced and thoroughly enjoyable, easily the highlight of our meal. We also tried the Malay Satay. While the satay was prepared well, we found that the flavor profile and accompanying sauce didn’t quite align with our personal taste preferences, so we’ll refrain from offering a rating on that dish.

The portion sizes were generous, providing more than enough for the two of us. We were pleasantly satisfied and even had enough to take home, which speaks to the value offered.

Overall, our experience at Malay Satay Hut was positive, and we would not hesitate to recommend it to others seeking authentic Malaysian cuisine with Halal options available.

Malay Satay Hut has moved - in Lake Hills area. Went to check it out and it still does great food. Service is still excellent. New design laid out.

Parking is a bit tricky. When entering the compound it looked like there are not parking available - this area is busy most times. However, if you drive towards the back (near the clock tower, and towards a little roundabout, there is direction to underground parking. To go back up, use the elevator that will open up at the clock tower.

The food tastes pretty authentique to Singaporean and Malaysian food. Friendly servers. Quick service. Comfortable interior.

Service is poor. Food is decent but arguably overpriced. But there is not a lot of good Malaysian options in the Seattle area - so we still occasionally visit.
