We went to Matt's to celebrate my husband's birthday and it did not disappoint. I had recently discovered Caymus,, a winery in California, and was thrilled to see a Caymus Merlot available on the menu. It was excellent! For dinner we started with our favorite appetizer, calamari. Their aioli sauce is the best! Went for dinner on a Monday night with friends. Calamari appetizer was great. My husband and I both ordered the Halibut but it was overcooked and dry. Our friends said their meals were good. Service was good. They sat us at the one table with a broken overhead light, so it was a little dark, but otherwise the ambiance was good. It's a nice place and I'm sure we'll go back again, just won't order the Halibut!
I have been to Matt's a number of times over the years and been ok with it but not wowed. I have to say, this time it was better. The food was great, the service was on point. We enjoyed our dinner thoroughly.
