Perhaps I should try something different but the noodle soup was okay. The soup base lacked the depth. I ordered the clear broth noodle soup with added hot oils. The noodle texture was good but the soups base was so basic. My coworker ordered the spicy beef noodle and it had a very strong oriental medicine flavor which wasn’t bad at all. Regardless I cannot give more than 3 stars based on what I had. I will come back to try something fancy later and might update the rating. Great service btw.

Take out order was promised in 20 minutes. When I arrived they made me wait 30 minutes and then told me: "its not personal". The people providing customer service are just not empathetic enough to even provide a reasonable eta. Several people started and finished their meals while I waited for my order. One of the worst experiences in pick up I've ever had.

The Maocai here is incredibly authentic. I ordered the least spicy option, but it was still quite spicy and had that signature numbing sensation—definitely a bit more than I could handle. If you enjoy bold, authentic flavors, this place won’t disappoint. Just be cautious with the spice level—even the mildest option packs a serious punch!

Had really bad experience there. The first time, got asked more tips from waitress. Second time, found dirty paper from the food Maocai. They waived the fee and promised to provide another one. But after long waiting, they didn’t provide the food. They explained I don’t need the food. Instead they are willing to give me 10 dollars coupon only. I said my food was taken away, I didn’t even eat half. Finally they gave me another one without coupons. No apologies too.
I will never go there again!

We just had a fantastic experience at Nine Way Redmond! Our authentic noodle dishes were unlike anything we've ever had and were absolutely delicious. We enjoyed a citrus fruit tea and a taro smoothy, both of which were unique and decadent. The staff was so incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome and appreciated. We highly recommend that you have an authentic meal at Nine Way!

Maocai is the best I’ve ever had! It’s not just spicy—the seasonings they use are outstanding. The portions are large in my opinion. I usually need two meals to finish an order. Everything is amazing: the noodles are chewy and fresh. One of the dry noodle dishes features yellow beans, something I’ve never had at other restaurants, and it’s spectacular!
The dumplings are also incredible, with a delicious taste from the filling to the outer layer. The sauce is a perfect blend of spicy and sweet. I loved it! Definitely a must-try!
