02/13/2026 - Have to edit my review now because they changed owners, and unfortunately it's for the worse. The new owners removed a bunch of things off the menu, and then the quality of the existing items worsened. Beef noodle soup, the beef is tough and chewy and not appetizing anymore...
Excellent beef noodle soup here, maybe some of the best for the price on east side. Green scallion pancake here is a little oily but better than you can get in most places.
Broth and noodles are top notch. Maocai highly recommended
the chili oil here pairs excellent with almost anything.

The food here is phenomenal, delicious spicy noodle and appetizer. We ordered pig ear, beef shank, wonton soup, nine nine dry noodle and their new dish pork with garlic sauce. It was so good, if you like spicy Chinese food, this place is for you. They have option to adjust the spiciness if you can’t handle the heat.

Noolde soup is so good! Beef is juicy and flavourful. I slurped the every last noodle of it.
Authentic and yummy beef noodles😍😍 Handmade noodles！Also 碗杂面 Sichuan Zajiang Pea Noodle is a really good choice if you like dry noodles. The staff are really welcoming.

1. Restaurant temperature is refrigerated, had chills the entire time and air draft was freezing my legs and feet. I was wearing long pants and a long sleeve shirt full toed shoes. 2. The portions are tiny for the price. I ordered nine noodles and dumplings but was still hungry. At Sichuan restaurant over by Marshall’s/Maguri, order the same items for less and get 2.5X the servings. This I dinner menu, seems like lunch appetizers. Just hard to find restaurants not skimping customers these days while raising prices.

I don't think my one review will make any difference but thought it is good to set the right expectation before you go. Food - Great! we enjoyed the Nine Mala noodles, Dumplings, however, their service is REALLY bad. On a Sat afternoon peak rush, 1 server could not manage the service. It took us 2 hours to complete our meal and it was quite frustrating. Also, the hygiene is a bit questionable, because I saw the server pick up spilled food while cleaning the table and immediately after that serving the other table with fresh food (and they did not wash hands or wear gloves). Anyway, I am not returning but try once if you want to.
