I've lived on the Eastside of Seattle for more than 20 years, walked past this place countless times and never stopped in until this week. My husband, son and I were looking for an unpretentious place to eat a late lunch at reasonable prices. Lots of online reviewers commented that this is a total dive bar but has great food and friendly service. They were correct. We really enjoyed our club sandwich, patty melt and tuna melt (each served with fries). Definitely better food than at many of the fancy restaurants in downtown Redmond or Kirkland. Our servers were attentive and congenial. As for the ambiance, oh yeah, it's a total dive. We expected the place to be dead on a Monday afternoon but there was a crowd of senior citizens who, in the words of Judas Priest ("Livin' After Midnight") appeared to be "loaded, loaded!" long before sunset, let alone midnight. That was actually kind of funny. Anyway, we won't be visiting for the nightly karaoke action but yes, we'll probably return for a tasty, old-school lunch or breakfast.

Always eager to serve, a few months ago,my friend took me here and treated me with " Prime rib dinner with beer" and I loved it. Now I am on a " Meat first diet" which eats 30 grams of protein on three meals and starts with protein not veggies.Thank you for making it easier for me!

Went here for years before moving out of state. Ran into people all the way in Minnesota who saw my Palmers merch and said they used to go there all the time 25 years ago and how great it was. Palmers has a wide reach for a good reason. Lovely trademark bar of downtown Redmond, I hope it never changes.

I don't drink often, but when I do, I'm confident in the bartenders taking care of me. Special mention to Jeremy, as he's always so kind and considerate (I'm aware bartenders tend to be nice by default). The karoake is fun to watch and the vibe is almost always just right. Thanks, guys! GB

Two things I love at Palmers, their breakfast, and Friday Night Prime Rib dinner. Decided this morning that my granddaughter was finally old enough for her first trip in. You know the drill (it's their name for the basic breakfast). It's now officially "inch worm" approved.

First, the drinks here are really good! I got the shameless skittle one, and it tasted amazing. The cider wasn't bad either. The tacos were overcrowded with onions. You can tell by the picture that about 2/3 of the taco was onion. They seem to have some pretty good deals that I'm willing to come check out at a later time, even breakfast! The bar stool seating in the middle is a little close to each other. So getting in and out is a little difficult. All in all, though, it was just okay. Enough for me to be curious to return!

i’m going to start by saying that this is one of my favorite places in Redmond. I am a regular and am known as a regular. Tanya and every staff member who worked on 2/21 besides you know who (SHE KNOWS WHO SHE IS) was the worst service that I’ve ever experienced at Palmers. On 2/21 Tanya served me and my friends and was the most respectful person. The woman that cut DESIGNATED DRIVERS OFF (that had told them they had not drank all night) in a different group was uncalled for— she had also cut off someone in our group that had just met up with us - when we bough beers, she kept coming and asking if he was drinking (even though he wasn’t). Our group of 8 got comfortable, felt targeted and left.
