Best hot pot we’ve ever had! It was very busy when we went in and we did not have reservations so we were unsure if we would get seated. There was one staff member who cleared tables very fast and made sure to seat guests as soon as possible so we were able to be seated right away. We found out later they were short-staffed and this staff still made sure to check in on us and be attentive to food allergies. The food and service were excellent! We look forward to the next meal here!

I used to like this place, but recent experience is bad. We got the house set. The lean beef is jerky-like chewy. Both pork are quite too fatty. They had no Goma-tare sauce, which is our favorite. And the seafood was not fresh - they are frozen good to begin with, which I am fine with, but they are not fresh even for frozen seafood.
Will not visit again for a long period of time.
Update: oh they also charged a 3% credit card surcharge without telling us this before service.

Parking: In back of the store, indoor parking, limited spots.

Shaburina in Redmond is an excellent spot for shabu shabu hot pot, especially with their AYCE (All-You-Can-Eat) menu. Located in a newer neighborhood near Hui Lau Shan and Safeway, the area is convenient and modern. Shabu shabu is my favorite style of hot pot since everyone gets their own pot, allowing you to customize your meal however you like. The setup is ideal, and the staff is incredibly friendly and happy to guide you if you’re new to the experience.

The AYCE menu offers two tiers of meat, and while I usually go for the premium option, the regular selection is also great. They have a variety of broths, though I wouldn’t recommend the original kombu—it’s a bit too bland for my liking. Alongside the meat, they have an extensive self-serve bar with fresh veggies, noodles, seafood, meatballs, and my favorite part: the sauce bar. The sauce bar has plenty of options for crafting your perfect dipping sauce, which really elevates the meal.

The beef and pork are of excellent quality, and after the initial serving of a variety of meats, you can reorder only your favorites, which arrive quickly. Refills on the broth are also available, so you’re never left wanting.

The price is reasonable for the quality and variety, and I always leave feeling full and satisfied. As a bonus, they offer complimentary ice cream after you pay, so be sure to stick around for a sweet finish. If you’re looking for a fun, customizable, and high-quality hot pot experience, Shaburina is a fantastic choice!

We always have the best experience at Shaburina! So glad my friend recommended this place.

The food quality is really high compared to other shabu shabu restaurants in the area. You can opt for the premium or house meats. The premium is definitely worth the extra money. The cuts are great, and super flavorful. However, you can’t go wrong with the house meats either. The quality is still really good. The meats are super thin sliced and are all you can eat which is dangerous.

They also have a salad bar that includes seafood, veggies, tofu, noodles and sauces. The vegetables are super fresh, and there are so many options. I also love the thick glass noodles. They are my favorite!

The service also really stands out here. Everyone is always so fun and friendly. We’ve had Solomon as our server multiple times, and he’s the best! He pays super close attention to the customers without hovering. He’s always quick to clear empty plates and refill drinks.

For 2 house meats and salad bars, it came out to a little over $100 for 2 people. Pretty standard for Bellevue but well worth it.

They also give you ice cream to go as you leave. They used to do cones but they now give you little cups. I could eat, like, 5 gallons of this stuff. I don’t know why it’s so good.

The hostess was trash, and hid from guests starting at 7:45pm so that he could turn them away at 8:03pm because last call was at 8:00pm.

My best friend showed me this place and it was SO good! I’m not a fan of hotpot but this place is different, and actually one of my favorites now! I took my husband 3 days later after coming here the first time because I loved it. They even give you free ice cream before you leave! I will say, if you plan to have a late dinner, get to the restaurant before 8pm. Their website says they close at 9pm, but they close the buffet bar and don’t seat anyone after 8, sometimes even a few minutes before 8pm, so please keep that in mind before you go! Other than that, the staff are super nice and attentive, and the food is delicious!

We came here to celebrate my brother coming into town to visit from Texas and had an amazing time! The vibe was just right, food was very fresh, broth was on point, buffet and sauce bar were *chefs kiss*. Loved the soft serve to go. Solomon, our server was next level with his energy, graciousness, and efficiency. Give that man a raise! Really enjoyed our dining experience and can’t wait to come back!

Some of the machines don’t function well on the highest heat setting (5). I noticed mine was much slower to heat up compared to the other stations at my table.

The food was decent. We chose the house course ($39 pp) but I couldn’t really distinguish between the four types of meat. Some of the beef was quite chewy, though I’m not sure which cut it was.

At the end, the server brings out ice cream, which was surprisingly delicious. It made for a nice finish to the meal.
