Came here for the kolache and wasn’t what o expected The sausage is just larger sausage that’s cut in half very chewy and the dough is just too soft almost like undercooked It kind of collapses also got some donut holes and they were very dry.
Simple, classic, no frills donut shop that helped keep me sane when I was working the night shift; whenever things got especially ragged around 4 am, I was always able to pep myself back up by remembering that Sunrise would open soon. Their donuts may not be as fancy as some places, but they're well-made and quite reasonably priced (at time of writing, $1.95 to $2.50 per donut, or $21-$30 for a dozen). Such a good shop still around. Absolutely love this place, customer over a decade plus. Everything is delicious but their ham & cheese croissants, spicy kolaches and buttermilk bars are what I’ve always gone back for. Go early.
