Absurdly high prices for mediocre at best food! We were really hungry but left pretty disappointed. We got the hotpot (which felt like a sludge), rama garden (which had just cabbage and diluted peanut butter), spinach and bean curd soup (which had just blanched spinach and tofu, no seasoning whatsoever!), I could go on!!

This place has really gone downhill. The waitress was really sweet but the food is awful compared to what it used to be. Also mouse poop on the floor.

I've been a customer for years at the Teapot and cannot say enough good things. I've tried most things on the menu and always feel I have wonderful choices to try. When I can't decide, I can trust the recommendations of the staffVegetarian options: Although I'm not a vegetarian, this menu is extensive and I never miss having the meat. The food is substantial and delicious, portions are generous, and the service is attentive. I absolutely love Teapot and it's my go-to choice when I want to treat myself to something special.
Food was incredibly oily and food quality doesn't match the cost. Atmosphere and service were good tho.

This is the best Chinese food spot in Washington. We got the steamed dumplings, wonton soup, and kung pao vegetables. The food has incredible flavor and is not too overpowering. Felt great after eating and the portion sizes are perfect. The owner and staff are incredibly nice as well, and the atmosphere is very calm and relaxing. Clean restaurant. 10/10 will be back

Been coming here for a couple years now, and every single time i come i receive excellent service and food. The waiting staff is excellent and fun to talk to and the service is just amazing. If something takes a little too long to come out due to the busy kitchen, they always compliment me with a free dish. Or for no reason a surprise of a free drink/dessert. Always a treat coming here.
We went there on Christmas for dinner. Very good vegan Chinese food and great service.

If you're hungry and kosher in Seattle... Teapot Vegetarian has good food. They are on the pricy side though, the sides were $12 and the meals closer to $20. We spent $100 not including tip, and the waiter was good so he got a good tip. The portions are quite large, which definitely helps offset cost. So I'd keep that in mind before visiting. The 5 flower tea was delicious! The spring rolls were appropriately crunchy and yummy. The corn chowder was the best soup I've had, and I hate soup. The pot stickers were a bit too.... Chewy? Doughy? For my taste, but I'm very partial to the pork and chicken pot stickers I'm used to so.... The gourmet "duck" (tofu) lo mein was my favorite cuz the tofu was sweet and crunchy. The "beef" lo mein had good flavoring, but the tofu was too thick for someone that doesn't like tofu (me lol). There was no music, which was a first for me, but didn't distract from the over all atmosphere. Over all it was a very lovely and wonderful place. It's open til 8:30pm, which also makes it the latest running kosher option in the city. So if you've got any Jewish and/ or vegan friends and want to have a good time.... Teapot.
