Just mid pastries were so plain and had no additional flavoring to them. Workers were really nice but would not come back for the pastries.

Lovely bakery with a wide selection of croissants and quiches. Would recommend all of them, but in particular the jalapeño and cream cheese croissant was fun!

Coffee and pastries were good, but the Thai iced tea was undrinkably sweet. They were nice enough to offer putting in more half and half to try balancing it out but it unfortunately couldn't save the drink, and I ended up having to throw it away. Ruined an otherwise nice visit.

Theirs are the best pastries in Redmond for sure (although farine is good too). My favorite pistachio croissant

When it was opened, food and drinks were good but now you feel the change.
Dont worry about selecting a drink, because even you select a specific flavor and drink, they all taste the same. Deserts especially eclairs look great but not really worth eating...

Nice atmosphere and decent quality pastries - although I bought a slice of mango cream cake and the cream was too dried out, and was not to the quality I used to get from them. Not sure it was the end of the day kind of issue or their quality is down — definitely overpriced. For $6 I expected a fresh cake not dried out one.
I got my cake in paper plates, sat outside to enjoy my cake. The staff closed without checking the outdoor tables. One was still full of their plates, silverware, and mugs. I knocked on the door to let them know, but they didn’t acknowledge it.

Location is great but the twice baked almost croissant tasted like it was a grocery pre-packaged pastry. It looked right but when I tasted it, I was sadly disappointed. I've been to the Crossroads and Downtown Bellevue locations and pastries in those places are excellent. I'm not sure if it was stale butter or what but not good.

Wife & I popped in here a couple of days ago for a lunch. We have never been and were curious to check it out. I've lived around here for a long while and was happy to see this as an addition to the Redmond Town Center. We were warmly greeted and given ample friendly service. Upon entering we were immediately welcomed with the enticing scents the bakery had to offer. We had a dish and coffee each, of which was swiftly produced and we nabbed a table outside to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. The coffee was delicious, the food was equally so. We even grabbed a handful of pastries to bring home with us. We will absolutely be coming back again. P.s.: If you are waiting for your order pickup, give room for others also coming to pick up as well.

Atmosphere is great especially in summer (if you want to sit outside)
Coffee is great
Salad is good but overpriced
Savory sandwiches (like paninis) are good
Biggest issue is with the pastries. They’re consistently stale like they’ve been sitting in a fridge for 3+ days. This was true at least for the Mille-feuille and the almond croissants, which tasted significantly worse than something you’d buy from a grocery store’s bakery department.

Coffee is good.
Food is good.
Prefer this place to Starbucks.
I like that now you can sit outside, with sunny days and blooming flowers the atmosphere is definitely different. Inside it’s clean but the table are too close to each other which doesn’t look that private .
There are about 6-7 tables outside and we were lucky to get one.

The French Bakery does great on presentation. Really eye-catching display from outside. If you've been to most any European bakery not in America, they're hard to beat. So we don't expect too much from American versions, though outstanding ones do exist. (We're far from food snobs but we have tried a few nicer bakeries.) This is not one of them.

Got two pastries and a quiche. You could tell they do not use the freshest or highest quality ingredients. Pretty low budget. The quiche was (gasp) warmed up on the microwave, leaving it nice and soggy. That single act alone told us this was not meeting even American standards of quality, although they're better than a Panera. Really wanted to try something outstanding.
