$4.50 for a pain au chocolat that is mediocre. Come on!

I just come here for an experience and drinking a mocha in a coffee cup. Its the 5th time I’m experience this dissatisfaction. The cashier will ask if its ‘for here’ or ‘to go’ even though you say its ‘for here’ the coffee will still be served in use and throw. When you go and ask why, they wont even answer properly. They just say we are not doing cups after 5:30. This should be told while we are ordering but they wont and will say they can give a refund.

FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE REPEATEDLY. The customer service is WORST.

French in name only, unfortunately

Turns Deadmon into Redmond!

Global Guide

One of the best coffees in the area and consistent quality of baked goods. Quite congested for a coffee shop

The pastries were are really good and the prices are reasonable. Especially compared to other places in downtown Redmond. Had the fruit tart and latte and both were exceptional. Staff is friendly and warm as well. Love this place.

Update
Came to get some pasties to go. There was a line but didn’t take more than 5 min. I added a latte to go as well… big mistake. I stood there waiting for 20 min. They put me down with the wrong name. WTH! So annoying. I asked for a new one which they made but even fresh it’s lukewarm at best. They need to turn the water temp up.

We ordered two whole cakes over the past month for family birthdays. The first cake looked great, but was a bit frozen on the inside upon cutting. I was surprised, but thought that maybe it’s not a very popular cake and they freeze extras for when needed. The second cake was their most popular Strawberry one. When I took it out of the box to serve on the table, I noticed the frosting has cracks on top and when I started cutting it, the strawberries inside were frozen! Like crunchy frozen.
Please notify your customers that they’re buying frozen cakes that may not be fully thawed and make extra time for proper thawing. I ordered 48 hours before pick up and that evening both 9in cakes were slightly frozen inside. Also, I’m not sure if it’s a standard practice to freeze a $55 cake, but I expected a freshly made one.

I think this is a relatively nice place however, if you're all about amazing food- best pastries in town hands down FARINE BAKERY.
French bakery has a high employee turn over rate and there's turnovers taste a bit like McDonald's. My pineapple turnover was good, bit a tiny bit Rae. Hardly ever get amazing customer service here. But again, it's OK, nice place to sit, everything is not azing but not bad over the years of going here.

Ordered at counter. Server was polite and friendly. Nice clean atmosphere inside with tables outside.

I ordered the croque madame 4/5. The pastries looked good, but I did not try any on this visit.

Heard a lot of glowing reviews, so had to try. A bit disappointed, I would not say food is bad - just nothing special. Got pistachio eclair and cheese/ham pastry. The pastry was better.

I ordered some bakery and coffee. They did not give me the two cups of coffee. I did not know it until I arrived home and checked the bag. The croissant was good, but the service sucked.

Wonderful place to work, as well as the sandwiches are very good. The cakes can sometimes be a bit too heavy, but the chocolate raspberry delice is a good balance and the eclairs are very good. The croissants are all very good. There is constant revising of pastries and often new ones to try with every season. It can get a little noisy and busy on the weekends, since there are only two registers, but it usually calms down more after around 1 pm on those days.

Vegetarian options: Croissant wise, there aren't too many savory vegetarian options, and they sell out fast on the weekends, but what there is all very tasty. All the cakes are vegetarian, and sweet croissants as well. There are no vegan opinions however.

Dietary restrictions: No vegan Options

Kid-friendliness: This bakery is located right by a kids swimming center so there are often a lot of kids with their parents at this bakery. A lot of the staff are also parents and are especially kind to children.

Ordered a veggie quiche a couple of days ago and it was so oily it nearly seeped through the paper plate. I'm also perplexed by a cafe that's trying to promote a certain quality but serving food in low quality paper plate and plastic cutlery.

There are heaps of bad reviews if you choose to read "lowest". More importantly, the owner is known for her temperament despite customers being understanding. The only saving grace of this cafe is no nearby competition & location - right at the heart of RTC and numerous parents waiting for the children to get out swimming, karate and Kumon.

We need more Cafes to come in and compete for the customers.

This bakery used to be a favorite meeting place! The food was good, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent. What happened??? I had a straightforward order of a crepe and coffee which the staff could not get correct. The food was served on paper plates and the coffee was served in disposable cups. Will I go back? Absolutely not!

Tiramisu was the worst I’ve had in a while. Even Fred Meyer has a better Tiramisu cake.
Next, the Mango Crème cake, that was so average. The presentation of both sure maybe okay but the flavors and texture just was not impressive at all. Even my stomach didn’t agree with what I ingested. Not worth the sugar intake.
