Lots of vegan options, good service
I went to eat here 2 weeks ago with a friend who ordered the mandarin tofu and he let me try some... it was so good I regretted not ordering it myself, so today I made sure it was the first item on my order! The batter is super crunchy, and the sauce is abundant and delicious. I guess this is why this is the #1 most rated item on doordash. It was my first time trying gula malacca, which is very sweet, and I could taste some banana (?) which I am not a fan of if used in desserts, but this is just my personal taste. All in all, it was ok. The portions are huge, and all other dishes I tried were good too, especially the fried noodles. The name of the restaurant was kind of misleading for me, that's probably why I haven't tried it before, but everything is vegan.
Been here a couple times now with my brother and it's a go-to every time I visit. Very tasty Chinese food with all the classics I used to love before I went vegan. Updated from previous review on 2025-02-20
Wish we knew about this place sooner! We’ll definitely be coming back! A good sized menu with lots of veganized favorites like almond chiken. The mandarin crispy tofu, almond fried fritters, chow mein, and fried wontons were all amazing.
Had a packed lunch.
The seasoning didn't bring out the proper taste of the dish, and the quality of the ingredients didn't feel like the meat was too fresh, so I don't recommend it.

The mandarin crispy fritters were very crispy and yummy but had a tad too much sugar in the sauce. The mapo tofu was nicely spiced. The portions were quite big but we had to order the rice extra. Found the appetizer spring rolls rather pricey. Service was good.
They serve lunch rice box where you get to pick three dishes from around 20 every day. Authentic Chinese cooking for sure.

Teapot Vegetarian is a family run Chinese vegan friendly restaurant. All of their food is plant-based and incorporates mock meats and sauces many people will be familiar with if they grew up in the States. Everything is designed to be shared family style and portions are pretty good here too. The Laksa was our standout dish. Everyone comes here for it and I could see why - the creamy coconut milk curry broth with noodles and veggies/tofu was spectacular and a must. We also enjoyed the Corn Chowder as that really reminded me of home. Claypot Veggies were way too salty sadly and without the included rice, it felt like something was off. I should probably stop ordering claypot dishes at veggie restaurants as they tend to be very saucy without much else. Service here was very friendly and they took great care of us. It's a relaxed environment and one I'd return to again.
The northern Chinese style canteen that is very rare here in Seattle. Dishes are so close to the taste of 食堂. Perfect place to grab some lunch during week days. The cold dishes are also very great.

While Google still think this place is still Hot Pot Factory, and the Chinese name is still Noodles Everyday, but neither name reflects the menu of this place at this time. There is now a big sign on the window, stating they have a Chinese lunch box for $14. They now serve this all day, every day. They do have a couple of soup noodles left on the menu, as well as some stir fried pancakes. But their main thing is now the hot food bar. You select 3 hot dishes out of the hot food bar, and the nice lady ladles them over a big plate of rice for $14.We decided to try this out for lunch today, and this is probably the best deal in the Seattle area these days for authentic Chinese lunch plates at a low price.Their hot bar food selection changes daily, but some of the things we tried were good: Garlic sauce pork, family style Fried tofu, stewed pork belly, eggplants stir fried with minced pork. They had 4 vegetarian dishes out of the 21 hot dishes you can choose from. If you go in as they open though, some of the dishes will not be available as they are still preparing fresh. If you arrive about 40 minutes after they open, the bar should be pretty much full. They also have some cold food selections including Fu Chi Fei Pian, thin sliced pork esrs, and pork head cheese. For $10, you can choose 2 items from the cold bar, and you get a nice plate of those items as appetizers. If you are in the area, and hungry for some authentic chinese food, definitely worth a visit. Your taste buds and your budget will thank you.

Must stop if you are in Redmond. Only true vegan Chinese restraunt left in the area. Many dishes you won't find anywhere else.
Tasty and authentic. The steamed dumplings were excellent. I could come here just for those!. The tea selection is extensive. I had the West Lake Dragon Well green tea (Xi Hu Long Jing Cha). It was very good. We found the fried rice a little too oily and too salty. But you may not, we don’t use oil or salt when eat at home. For us when we come next, and there will be a next time , we would get the plain steamed brown rice, steamed vegetables, and the steamed dumplings. But we will keep our taste buds open as this is our first time. I am curious to try the hot pots. This is our second time and it did not disappoint. Better than the first. We went with the clay pot vegetable and tofu hot pot. Very tasty. Updated from previous review on 2024-02-05
Nice place with friendly staff! They do a great job sealing takeout containers. I’m not really a fan of most Asian food, but the rama garden with peanut sauce is tasty!
Very tasty marinated and smoked meats!, albeit the small

They have some authentic regional Chinese dishes and appetizers that you cannot find elsewhere (brain, liver, blood). The soup was extra spicy and oily (pro or con depending on you). Ordering is all done through iPad. No sauce bar. Recommend the dragonfruit paste fish cake. A bit pricey for the portion size
