Disappointed. This used to be my all time favorite kbbq restaurant. I recently went back and they had changed everything. They no longer do the self serve, and you have to order everything. They also started a system for meat based on a color code so you can only order from the green if you pay this much or purple if you pay this much. For the most expensive section, purple you can only get the ribeye 1 per person, prior there were no sections and it was a true all you can eat. The banchan was also disappointing, the kimchi all felt very recently made with no fermented flavor. The samjang was just doenjang mixed with sambal. The tteokboki tasted like it was made with paprika. You have to order anything you want causing you to constantly ask a waiter for help. They no longer have the large selection of side they did with self serve. The prices are lower but it is not worth it. I would have much rather continued to pay a high price for self serve. I am truly disappointed as this was my favorite restaurant and I now need to find a new place to go.

Dinner AYCE for the premium one ($50 ) 70% of the beef inedible…. Super chewy and very salty. The marinated beef was not fresh and smelly….yes even marinated…. Rice was hard, and can only have pork belly and beef tongue to fill our stomachs……never go back….. no one only 3 tables with customers………..

Don’t eat this buffet. It’s super sweet and salty. It should be intentional so that customers will be thirsty and eat less. The price is expensive for Korean food in Seattle. The meat quality is very poor, not fresh and not chewable. I asked the waiter to find the manager. The waiter said it was a genius to deceive me. He did not apologize for the poor quality. Instead, he said that it was always like this. I have eaten at many Korean restaurants, but none of them made it so bad and the meat was not fresh.

Nice Carpet

it was super nice and a great Korean BBQ place but the tables were a bit small making it hard to move around. also, the table was. very cramped. Overall super great and good food

We have been to the Woomadang Korean Restaurant in the past and enjoyed going there. We recently learned Woomadang was under new management and decided to go there yesterday (03 Nov 2024) for lunch. In reading a previous reviewer's comments, we were aware the hot/cold bar option, previously available at this restaurant, had been removed in favor of personalized service at one's table. After having the menu explained to us by our server, we ordered one of the three AYCE options available, understanding that other items (starters, entree's, etc) could also be ordered if desired. Our wait person was friendly, attentive and quick to replenish items that we requested. The meats we ordered (beef, pork and chicken), that we cooked at the table, were well marinated, tender and tasty. The side dishes we ordered were plentiful and good, though some we enjoyed more than others. Admittedly, we missed some of the items on the discontinued hot/cold bar option, but in our opinion, this did not detract from our overall dining experience. We considered the price we paid to be competitive with other AYCE restaurants in our area. Friendly staff...excellent service...good food...we'll be back!

Place was great, then new management took over and ruined it. AYCE is tiered out and more expensive. The serve yourself hot/cold bar is staff only.. you have to ask for things, but how do you know what to ask for if you're not allowed??

Meat quality is literally just okay. Skip those place. Go anywhere else.

LET ME BE CLEAR. MANAGEMENT IS THE PROBLEM.

We recently visited this restaurant for the all-you-can-eat option, where we tried the beef and chicken. Unfortunately, the meat was quite tough, difficult to chew, and had an unpleasant odor. The overall atmosphere was affected by a pervasive smell, which reminded us of burnt liver. We struggled to finish even the first round due to the quality and flavor of the meat.

The side dishes were just average, and the items on the hot bar were lukewarm at best, requiring us to reheat them. Overall, our experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place. We ended up getting a pizza from a nearby store to satisfy our hunger.

Fried chicken wings are above the average level!
Updated:
They don’t have fried chicken in the hot food bar anymore. The price goes down tho, the food bar quality goes down as well

Food was pretty good, not well seasoned. The service was terrible, no one asked if we wanted anything and had to flag the server down for everything. It had good atmosphere

They dropped the price of the AYCE menu so that's good. I think the meat quality is very average here. The choices for AYCE are very limited. You won't find cuts like thick pork belly. The hot bar and cold bar are very worth it though. Unlimited Korean Fried Chicken is totally rare to find anywhere.
