Have came here a handful of times in the past 4 years. Had great experiences except for the last few. A month ago we came and ordered food and it took 1 hour and 45 minutes and this time the food was out in 40 minutes after I was told a 15 minute wait but the halibut was soggy on one side. On every piece. My husband ordered 3 piece and I ordered 2 piece. And the fries were cold. Normally the fish comes with tartar sauce but we did not get any and when we went to ask they made us pay for it which was kind of disappointing since it’s always came with it before. Atmosphere in the restaurant is great but the food has gone down in quality. I’m sure if you’ve had enough drinks it would be fine but unfortunately I didn’t go to drink, I went to eat. Definitely won’t be coming back again. When you pay $80 for food it shouldn’t be such poor quality. I could be wrong but seems like the gal at the register is drunk, every time we’ve came in it’s seems like she’s sampled too many.

Closed and stopped serving food more than 30 minutes before closing.
Doesn’t say that anywhere online that they can decide when they are done serving and when they want to go home. Super disappointed with their service and laziness.

Not a super great place to hang out, they close at 9:00 on a Friday night, and by 9:06 they're asking you to leave. All they really seem to care about is getting your money and getting you out the door. I've been here several times, and never had a great experience, the food is good and the atmosphere is good, just expect them to start clearing your table before you're even done eating as they want to push more people through, guess I don't really blame them, got to get those $$$

I actually got a hot dog from the great food cart in the back, it was wonderful, as was the service. Great lawn with tables, perfect for families to eat and relax.

Great place for a great local brew and some of the best seafood in PDX metro

Great beer, wonderful venue outside on good days, really good halibut & chips tho they changed their batter over the last year and it is not AS good and crispy as it used to be. Still fun tho

45 minute wait for cold fries and soggy bun on the salmon sandwich. What a disappointment! Didn’t come for the beer so can’t weigh in on that, but skip this place for lunch it’s not worth the wait. Oh yeah, and $$ for the portions.

Always a treat, the fish sandwich is amazing and had two giant fried pieces of halibut on it.

Excellent place to grab a beer and sit outside. Food from next door was good, but slow as others have stated. That's not the fault of the taproom. Dog friendly and plenty of space both on the patio or out on the lawn.

Halibut fish and chips are always awesome. They don't really have waiters but we ordered at the bar and got our food fast. Service lost stars because we went over to the deli and were barred entrance at 4:45 pm because 'they are closed on Monday and so they were cleaning out the cases'. The sign says open till 6 pm on Sundays. Lazy associates shut down early in my experience.
If it was a special event or some other legitimate reason, put a sign on the door. Otherwise, don't turn away potential customers. Sounds like a shitty business model to me personally.

Great food, and wide selection of rotating microbrews and ciders. Comfortable environment, and outdoor seating available.
