We LOVE El Rancho! My mom went here a lot when pregnant, my hubby and I have been going here since before we got married (so about 11 years). We've gone here for a special meal for birthdays and anniversaries. It's got a cozy central American atmosphere with its lovely architecture and paintings. The food is very authentic and fully delicious! They're very good about accommodating substitutions and dietary restrictions as requested.
This is seriously the best place. Great food and service. I can't even explain how friendsly and personal the owner and staff are. Best experience. Been going for 4 years and it hasn't changed. Owner will talk to you like your bestfriends catching up on life. If your reading this. Seriously Go! Tell them Zac sent you.
The food was tolerable, but not something I'd pay for in the future. Not sure how to make Mexican food bland, but they seem to have accomplished that feat, except maybe for the salsa. I'd recommend drowning your food in the salsa. The atmosphere was not quite as drab as the food, but also not much better.
