It's confusing to find this place as it's inside the Country Cafe. A traditional diner. Hoping for some mexican on our way down to Portland, we had stopped here to charge up our car and grab a bite. I'll start with the service- super friendly and very quick. But the food was not good. Margarita was the worst mix you can find, not that I expected a hand squeezed but something better than a neo green drink. We ordered a tamale and chicken mole. The tamale had no meat in it. While the mole sauce was good, the chicken was tough. Rice was crunchy and undercooked. If you are stopping here, go for the diner food, it looked delicious.
Worst meal I’ve ever eaten

Every dish my family ordered was good. The prices are reasonable. My kids loved it. The only complaint I have is the european waitress’s attitude was not the best, yet the other staff was friendly. We left a tip just because the food was good; then her attitude was a little better. But I had another tip too that is: if you don’t like your job get another one. Five stars for the food!
We had a Russian/Ukrainian woman who was not a great waitress. I let her know we'd have carne asada, not chicken. She says yeah I got it. And we got chicken. A Hispanic woman came out and changed it, she was friendly and we wished she were our waitress.
I think the European woman microwaved our kids glass of milk! Gross.
They don't serve chips and salsa like most Mexican restaurants.
I got the shrimp spinach enchilada, it was decent. Husband got the carne asada and said it was good but he was starving so ??♀️
Won't be back for Mexican. We're lucky to have so many amazing Mexican restaurants in the area!
The breakfast is ???????? though.

Although I ordered takeout, I appreciated the service, food was great, and the restaurant atmosphere was pleasant. I enjoyed the music and because there's a mixture of different food types, there's a lot to choose from - two menus. I had the enchiladas de espinaca - Wonderful.

The food was over priced and the service was not that great, coffee was $4.99 and I had to make request for refill. It wasn't very busy at the time of my visit. Food was served some cold and lukewarm. My first time there not sure I would go again. My opinion, who knows you might like it.

My wife and I tried this place for the first time today. Very dissapointing. After waiting 50 mins for our food, the food was bland and not much flavor. My wife only had a few bites of her Omelete and couldn't continue. The waiter was very nice and respectful, he apologized for the long wait, but we won't be back.
(Translated by Google) Driving along the freeway, search on google and it appears 7 min away, we go in and ask for something to eat Super good service and very good food ? thank you(Original)Manejando por el freeway busque en google y aparece a 7 min entramos y pedimos de comer Super buena atención y muy buena comida ? gracias
La Cocina Real is the same restaurant as Country Cafe. We came into eat around 2pm, but Mexican food starts being served for dinner at 4pm, so we had American food. They serve a good breakfast all day.
Bad service, waitress had a look of disdain Everytime she came to the table (twice in and hour btw) food was overly greasy and the oil used to cook seems like it might not have been changed since the pandemic started.
