I stopped by Lil La Oie for brunch and was completely blown away. The vibe is charming, cozy, and cute patio — the kind of spot you instantly want to spend every sunny Sunday afternoon at. I ordered the French toast with strawberries and clotted cream, and wow. It was more like a dreamy bread pudding than traditional French toast — perfectly soft and custardy in the center with a golden, slightly crisp exterior. Topped with fresh, juicy strawberries and the most decadent clotted cream, it struck that perfect balance between rich and not overly sweet. And then… the alligator sausage on the side. Yes, you read that right. Alligator! It was flavorful, just the right amount of spice, and cooked beautifully. A fun and unexpected treat that totally worked. The service was warm and attentive, the food came out quickly, and the portions were generous without being over the top. You can tell there’s real thought and love behind every dish. Lil La Oie is doing something special — definitely adding this to my regular brunch rotation!
The Cajun mac & cheese is the best I have ever had!
Shrimp n Bacon Mac n Cheese is the best this side of the Mississip
We’ve been going to this food truck for years now…. We have tried everything on the menu plus lots of specialty made dishes.. I am a very picky eater, I don’t normally try new things, has branched out and have loved everything they have made for me…. You should try their sloppy joes… unique Smokey flavored yumminess… and my current personal favorites are the Pistolette with spicy rice and the Monte Cristo…. They don’t open until 11am but if you love breakfast food, they have made us amazing breakfast sandwiches… If you haven’t tried them, you are truly missing out… They are amazing people, always kind…. We love going there… not to mention the brewery and other food trucks near them, it’s an all around great place to go.
The bread pudding has a great taste. A little chewy though. The beignets were pretty good also, a little overcooked though. The jambalaya was the worst jambalaya we have had. Somehow the meat in it was dry. Both the chicken and sausage. I'm guessing it's leftovers and has just been left cooking. The nachos were decent. I just wasn't a fan of the un-melted cheese on them. Also a bit salty.I was disappointed in the time it took to get our food also. 48 minutes for items that were all already cooked with the exception of the beignets was a bit much.

Love this place! If you love a awesome monte cristo sandwich they make a fantastic one. And there beignets there fantastic. Great good truck over here on Hwy 99 by Brothers Cascadia Brewing. You won’t be disappointed.
Went here today to pick up my husband’s gumbo which he can now have every day if he wants! We have been going to big La Oie since they opened. Sadly, they only serve gumbo on Thursdays now my husband can enjoy it every day of the week and I don’t have to cook. Love the new spot!!! So convenient!!

Amazing! The people who run this cart are so kind and really care about the food they put out. The customer service is 10/10. The food itself is also great, authentic Cajun cooking! Highly recommend giving them a shot ☺️

I will try this again but the smothered fries were barely smothered and the Cajun spice has a lot of salt when combined with bacon. I think I will try one of the Cajun things on the menu next time. They didn’t have boudin balls this time so we opted for Waffle Fries.
