My son is always talking about this place and I asked him to being me some of their halibut. YUCK ! it was dry and the cooking oil tasted like it had not been changed in six months, This was the worst fish I have ever eaten. The only reason I ate it was because my son had gotten it for me, and I did not want him to feel bad.

I’ve been coming to PNW Best Fish for years, and it never disappoints. Their fish and chips are hands-down the best in Clark County—crispy, perfectly cooked, and always fresh. It’s become one of my go-to spots when I’m
craving great halibut or clam chowder. Highly recommend!

This place used to have delicious fish and chips. I hadn't been there in a couple of years. The fish was thin and dry and the fries were soggy and cold. The price for a 2 piece order of fish and chips was $25 almost double what it was 2 years ago. I was overcharged by $20 and had to return the next day to straighten it out. I will not be returning.

Even though the store is inland about an hour from the coast, their seafood is fresh, clean and wild caught. They have a large selection of salmon, steelhead, oysters, and wild shrimp. It’s my go to place for the best fresh seafood in the Pacific Northwest. They also have a great selection of smoked fish and crustaceans such as oysters and mussels. Outside of the store there are carts that prepare seafood base dishes in different styles, such as creole and fried varieties. Highly recommend this place. The people who run it are extremely knowledgeable and very friendly and the prices are very reasonable.

It's an outdoor eatery so be prepared for bugs/weather/temperature to be a factor. Employees were polite and courteous and the food was fantastic!

Idk if it was just a really bad night in the kitchen or what but our meals were bland, soggy with heavy frier grease, and took forever to get. It looked pretty upscale, but yeah that was just dive bar food.

This is a cool little place for lunch! We stopped by and tried their halibut. It was awesome! The French fries were good, too. It has outdoor seating that we took advantage of and had a lovely meal.

I met my wife in September 2024. She lived in Ridgefield, Washington. Such a beautiful town she told me that the best fish and chips I would ever experience is at Pacific Northwest best Fish Company. I told her I highly doubt it because. I live in Gig Harbor which has some of the best fish and chips in the state at the tides Tavern. Well, after going to Pacific Northwest, best Fish Company in had their halibut I had to tell her that I was Wrong this was the best fish and chips I’ve ever had
Coming forward to July 3 of 2025 sent my best friend down there who was passing through and His grandson and he called me and we sent him down to the best northwest Fish Company and he said he really enjoyed it so my wife and I went there yesterday July 5 We were so let down by the fish and chips. We could not believe it, now I’ll tell you the story We came in there, surprised that the price we paid was a little more than we’d ever paid before. We ordered the coconut shrimp. The shrimp are good. They seem kind of small though. But talking about small the ha. Were about half the size of what we had seen just six months ago they were thinner pieces and they were actually smaller in size. The three pieces came to above the size of two pieces that we got before my wife’s telling me now about one and a half pieces.. I couldn’t believe it I will say, though that it tasted just as good as before. I was really wanted to talk to the owner, but it was so crowded in there yesterday. It looked like they must’ve had a baseball Because the place was just packed so they still have the customer base it looks like, but I was really let down with how much they cut back on the size of the fish Quality is good. Quantity took a huge nose dive.. My wife’s analogy is they went from Texas toast a flatbread and that is a truth. I was not a good 60 bucks for something I should’ve paid about $25 for.
