It pains me to write this review, knowing that Jennae is a very talented chef, but I live in Ridgefield and my wife, daughter, and I decided to eat here one day, and well…as one chef to another, it was garbage. My wife ordered the ribs, I had the pulled pork sandwich; and to be honest….there was not enough sauce to rehydrate the very, very, very Sahara dryness of the meat, and as a chef I understand pricing, but this was unfortunately a waste of money. And like I said ..I know the owner, I have worked with her at certain events, but this pod ; unfortunately isn’t helping her brand.

Always excellent BBQ and great service. Atmosphere is food carts, but centrally located so you can walk around after. Great beef, chicken and pulled pork. Unfortunately the cart is apparently closing.

Fantastic food! My family and I will be spending more time at this food truck! I had the mushroom and swiss smashburger...I love that the cheese was crispy around the edges...the baked beans are delicious. My boyfriend got the pulled pork sandwich and mac. He loved his too. I heard him complimenting the bbq sauce. We're getting ribs tomorrow (they do ribs on Saturday). Gotta try the hush puppies, too. Scrumdiddly!

Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Bun was toasted, yet very soft. Mild BBQ sauce served on side was perfect. Baked beans were over the top good!!

Terrible Mac salad and potato salad. I spit them out after tasting how bad they were. Strawberry cake was awful. BBQ chicken was tolerable. Won’t return! Overpriced meal!

This bbq is located at the carts in the park section of downtown Ridgefield which means you may have to park a couple blocks away. The BBQ is absolutely worth it!! Every time I've gotten food here, it's incredible. Juicy, fresh, flavorful, you name it! Takes me back to my southern roots.

Sugars is my go to BBQ here in the Pacific Northwest. Nothing on the menu is a dud at all. Highly recommend the beans. So damn good.

They close earlier than you would expect, so be sure to plan ahead. Plenty of covered outdoor seating. The hush puppies are always a good choice.

This was our 1st time. The Brisket was top notch. The mac salad awful. No flavor, basically was noodles mixed with mayo. They were out of everything. The gal kinda laughed. I don't mind spending good money but $111.00 for 3 people. The only thing they had that we wanted was the Brisket.was so disappointed, I love everything local and do shop local. And on top of it they asked for a 15% tip. Unfortunately I won't be back...

We tried the pit boss combo. The brisket was good. The pulled pork did not have much flavor. The garlic Parmesan fries were just ok. The slaw had an off-putting bitter taste.

Definitely the best barbecue I've had in the Northwest and maybe the whole country. The brisket was absolutely amazing, as were the chicken and ribs. The sides were also on point: the queso mac was creamy with a nice kick and the peaches in the baked beans were a phenomenal surprise. Will definitely be back
