This Fraternal Order of Eagles, was clean, hadgood lighting and smelled fresh, not old and musty. I've been to many Eagles, most are old, dingy, of smell of must and stale smoke. Not this one. I even told the ladies this was the cleanest and nicest one I've been to. The pool table was free! The bartender and staff were very friendly.
In a small town with mostly fast food dining, this Eagles club is serving up some of the finest broasted chicken in the county. Pizza was darned hearty, too. Probably a pre-fab crust, but what bar doesn't use those? Friendly patrons, and drinks as stiff a pour as you'd expect in an Eagles. They don't start cookin' till 5PM, so grab some pull tabs, order a draft or well drink, and play some cribbage until that savory bird comes out of the broaster. Better yet, become a member! This will be repeated by my family, for sure...
