Love this place. Always delicious, always fresh, always friendly and accommodating! Thank you all so much.
At the recommendation of the nice fellow behind the counter, we got some halibut filets; he told us he catches it with his dad here around the islands and they flash freeze it as soon as they catch it. He gave me cooking recommendations as well, and it was so delicious that even our toddler was devouring it! Pan sauteed with fresh garlic, lemon, and butter...chef's kiss, so good!!! We also got some of the fresh smoked salmon, sold in unmarked ziplock bags, which is so real and authentic, and again, the best smoked salmon I've ever had, moist and perfect. I hardly ever leave reviews, but I had to for this place!
Jodi, our server, gave us superb service. The food was OUTSTANDING. I strongly suggest their Maytag salad.
Excellent service (Bernard) and general atmosphere. Food is excellent. Specialty is prime rib but the restaurant was out by the time we ate (6:30). They substituted rib-ye steaks - done perfectly. The manager was very gracious and gave everyone a free dessert because they ran out of the prime rib. All the food was delicious. Highly recommend and definitely would go back.
McMillins is top notch. Located on Roche harbor. Very, very good food and ambience. Meat and potatoes, Martinis, Manhattans, and amazing Wild Salmon. They have two levels so everyone gets a view of the harbor, or marina. Also be prepared for the flag ceremony, happens every night, fun to watch.
Jose, our server was outstanding! Thank you. I ordered the sole and my wife ordered the Salmon Crab Oscar. We also ordered the crab, artichoke dip. Everything was prepared and plated perfectly. Would definitely return.
A go-to for special occasions. Excellent menu, fine wine list, excellent service. On the pricey side, but considering site and proficiency and quality, they earn it. Heart of Roche overlooking the harbor. Plus a (cheesy) sundown retreat to boot; the tourists seem to like it.
We hadn’t booked a table so just took a chance and we’re lucky to get a table in the bar area overlooking the harbour. Great cocktails and the food was all delicious , all in a great atmosphere. View of the sunset was special and we had no idea that we would be privileged to have a great view of the lowering of the flags - special to see. Thank you to Hugo and Taylor who looked after us so well.
My husband and I were seated at a waterfront table and the view was lovely. The dining room is loud and there were several large parties. Unfortunately the prime rib was already sold out (7pm). My husband had the salmon which was cooked perfectly (“wet”) and I had the seafood ravioli which was mediocre. It was really a deconstructed ravioli with flat pasta squares topped with seafood and butternut squash. The shrimp, scallops and salmon were all over cooked and compared to my husband’s salmon, mine was much lower quality. The butternut squash was undercooked. Crab bisque was good, bread was good, service was phenomenal- Sarah is a pro and very personable.
So glad we decided to dine at McMillin's. We had a corner table inside which had wonderful views of the harbor. We shared the spring market salad and the wagyu burger -both were outstanding. Probably one of the best burgers I've had. Our waiter Bernardo was very friendly and provided great service.

Highly recommend McMillin's on Friday Harbor. Prime rib and seafood, fresh and well prepared. Our waitress Rosie was especially friendly. The visit to Roche Harbor is well worth the trip.

Easy to find at Roche Harbor. Live and cooked seafood.Very good service. We were able to eat cooked shrimpAnd crabs at the table near by.
From the olive bread to scallop appt to the main course - all the dishes were well prepared and presented with excellence.
Made reservations on Resy and was surprised when we arrived that the place was full, considering that it was mid-January. It was our anniversary and we noted this on the reservation and reminder them upon arrival. Surprised that the place did nothing for us, not even a "Happy Anniversary" from anyone on staff. Given a window seat overlooking the marina, it was a great view! (almost all tables have views, by the way) Some of this might not be fair with the supply chain shortages and staffing issues, but not everything on the menu was available. We ate at 6 PM, but apparently I got the last baked potato (sorry for those eating 6:30 or later) and it was luke warm at best, the butter would not even melt. I also had the 10 hour prime rib which was very tasty, but again, warm at best. The waitress brought me some hot mashed potatoes to compensate, which was nice and very good. Wife has the spinach and artichoke dip, which was very good. We wanted the Frango sundae for dessert (on menu), but they were out, so we skipped dessert. Overall, the food was very good, if not very hot, staff was OK at best, they either need to update menus of make sure they have what is on it, but again, this might be a staffing/supply thing. Good dinner, not worth the $110 for two, but still good.
