My sister and I were visiting North Cascades NP and passed this place a few times in and out of the park thru Marblemount. We actually wanted to stop by the Glacier Peak Winery which is next door but was closed, not sure because of the season or because of Covid but then noticed here we could get their wine. We ordered a bottle, sat at a picnic table outside while our food was prepared and also enjoyed some conversation from a local gentleman that sat at the table next to us. The girl that took our order was awesome! Super friendly and even let us try the wine first before we purchased the bottle. We took our food to go as we were staying down the road at the KOA. The food was really good and nice size portions. I had a Black Bean Burger (which was one of the best veggie burgers I've had), my sister had the Rocky Creek Special and she enjoyed it as well. It doesn't look like much but you'll be pleasantly surprised!
We stayed at the Campground on the same property as this restaurant and ate here a couple of times. Once for dinner, once for breakfast and once takeout lunch. Don’t pass up the cinnamon buns they are homemade and delicious
We had breakfast and dinner here. Both were decent and well priced. The food is basic and tasty. There is nothing exceptional about the place but it is more than good.
Was recently camping nearby and decided to run up to Rockport area for lunch. Unassuming café that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Stopped by The Eatery and ordered a Swiss Chuck Wagon burger with au jus and onion rings for $10.95. Very good burger, great rings and the service was awesome. Used to stop by this place years ago for their homemade cinnamon rolls that the owners mother made (who has since passed), but they're still making them and are delicious. This place also has a taco Tuesday, and a fried chicken night on Fridays.. I would definitely go back and have a meal again, when in the area.
This restaurant has been closed for a while. It was good when it was there, but, alas, it is no more. We drove by the end of October and it is still closed.
This is probably the only one (or at least one of the very very few) breakfast stand near the west entrance of North Cascade National Park on Hwy 20. I would not say the food is fantastic -- in another word, don't expect fancy French toasts topped with fresh berries and organic syrup -- but the restaurant is clean, and service is good and fast, and the food is decent. I'd say the food here is much like that of Danny's or Waffle House. One more bonus: the place opens super early at 5 am in order to accommodate dam workers. That means, you can have breakfast before heading to your early hike.
