This place is fantastic! Don’t listen to the bad reviews! Yeah it is not a super fancy winery. If you want that, go to Yakima. But it is a cute little local winery right outside of a national park. It was a great stop after a weekend of hiking, and I will definitely be back!
Located next to Glacier Peak resort, we drove but could have walked but it was a hot day, you drive/walk past the vineyards. Inside, the tasting room is cozy and homey lovingly decorated by Lisa. There are tables for outside tasting as well.The wine tasting flights were very reasonably priced, then afterwards we enjoyed a glass of wine and chatted with Lisa who made us feel like family. Her son, trained in winemaking and who worked for a French master winemaker make the wine.The...
Wonderful stop on the trip over the North Cascade Highway, I highly recommend making that turnoff! The narrow road might scare off some people in motorhomes and trailers, but don't worry there's a big area to turn around at the end. As good as the wines are( and they're good!) The highlight might be Lisa, the lady who runs the tasting room. She is quite possibly the sweetest and most personable person I've met.
