Small space but large portions. Great food and good beers.

There were a lot of flies, to the point it was a bit annoying. The dish I got was not as I hoped, although others at the table liked food

Family of three visited during rush hour this last Sunday, with reservations. Service by Megan was spot on and friendly. Food was amazing. We had shrimp and chicken fajitas and pollo ala crema. On Megan's recommendation, we added veggies to the pollo ala crema. Made a great dish even better. The atmosphere was comfortable and fun. Will go back often when in town.

My friends and I popped in for lunch coming off trail after a 3 night backpacking trip. I don’t think it was the hiker hunger when I say that we all thought that this was some of the best Mexican food we’ve ever had. Service was fabulous too (thank you Kaitlyn). Highly recommend the queso! Great find, hope to get back to Roslyn one day!

While dining with my family, I hurt my finger pretty bad on the chair metal frame I was sitting on. I kindly aaked our server Korin if I could file a incident report; she got mad and gave an attitude and directed me with Oscar (restaurant manager) and he didn't want to do it. Definitely not coming back due to poor customer service.

Unfortunately both the food and drinks werre very Bland. The Salsa they give you with the chips on the other hand was amazing.

It took over an hour for our table to get our food, and we noticed that tables that came after us got their food first. Our appetizer came out after our entrees.
And when the food eventually did come, it wasn't even good. The carne asade was so tough and wasn't seasoned well.
The server did not a good job. She continually forgot to bring our table things. We were supposed to get 3 orders of tortillas with our entrees, and we only got 1.
When they ask if you want guac or beans with the free chips and salsa, they don't mention that it's not free. Each refill of guac is over $5. Also, there's a sign that says the food is 3% cheaper if you pay in cash, when actually there's just a 3% surcharge if you pay with a credit card. Scummy business to not let that be known.
FOOD BAD. SERVICE BAD. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

EDIT: It's quite alarming that the owner is not only taking zero accountability for their unprofessionalism and lack of communication to their customers, but even moreso, blatanlty lying about insulting their waitress and the details of what occured. If the owner is willing to lie about details of the order (we ordered 5x guacs across 10 people; NOT 9x guacs across 9 people) then it is apparent that he is willing to exaggerate other details such as claiming that we insulted his staff. I am appaled at the fact that a business owner runs his business in such a manner. Attached are photos showing the discrepancies.

Took about 1.5 hours to get our food. Never communicated to our table that guac is $5.50 extra until our receipt came even after ordering 5x refills. Manager then lectured us while raising his voice. Overall, communication was poor, extremely unprofessional, and slow service. Unfortunately, would not recommend this establishment.

Unfortunately the only option for Mexican food. I would not recommend.

Expect 1.5hr wait after ordering and sub par service. The owner is does not care about the customer experience is rather rude.

I suggest going somewhere else.

Look at my profile. I don't leave reviews, but this experience merits one.

Not only did we wait for more than 2 hours for our food to arrive after we ordered, but the food itself was sadly disappointing. I ordered the carne asada fajitas and what came out was an unseasoned low quality plate of cartilage, fat, and onions.

When we first arrived they provided chips, salsa, and guacamole. Because we were waiting so long we got several refills of these items. When the check finally arrived we saw we were charged 5.50 for each tiny refill of guacamole. when we brought this to the attention of our wait staff and how we were never told it was a charge/believed it was complimentary the owner came and began to lecture us about how nothing is free. This was especially perplexing given the fact that their chips and salsa were free.

We weren't there to hear a lecture so we promptly paid for the check and left.

I cannot in good conscience recommend this restaurant - for food, service, or ambience.

The Carne Asada is a staple here. Our server Megan went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and happy. Literally ran after us after we had forgotten some tortillas to-go. The Ambience was authentic and inviting. 5 Stars!!!
...I would've taken a photo, but we ate it too fast.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Roslyn Mexican Grill is such a hidden gem right in the heart of town! It’s a small, cozy spot with so much charm, and the food is amazing. We tried it all — queso flameado, nachos, street tacos, and fajitas — and every single dish was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection.

Our server, Anna Lisa, was absolutely wonderful — so sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home. If you’re in Roslyn and craving delicious (Washington state style) Mexican food in a welcoming, small-town setting, this is the place to be!

They also have a couple of outdoor seating tables that are dog friendly!

We were in town for a friend’s birthday and had a party of 10. After being turned away by a couple of other nearby restaurants, we walked into this place and were warmly welcomed. The staff went out of their way to accommodate our group, even creating a space for us outside to ensure we were comfortable.

Both the food and service were outstanding. We truly appreciated the hospitality and will definitely be back!
