Great little caffe in the heart of a small town of Roslyn, Great baked goods, breakfast items like breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Also has a large assortment of drinks, Ice Cream and softserve. Worth stopping in and getting something to eat or drink if your gonna be in Roslyn.

It’s took 25min to get a smoothie that was mediocre at best. I’m not sure if they just “forgot” to make it until I reminded them. Either way waiting that long for a smoothie is unacceptable. I definitely regret giving them a 25% tip.
I’ve been in before and had great coffee. Also the pastries are wonderful. Lesson definitely learned, only get coffee and pastries.

The food is great, and the iced coffees are my favorite. Love the Irish Cream Latte!
Their Reuben is lighter and really tasty.

The three teenagers behind the counter were all very sweet but unfortunately overwhelmed by a small lunch rush. My dine in order was taken by a possibly new employee and that's when things went downhill.
Folx continued to come in and pull the three employees into making orders and not being able to manage the guests. The boss/owner eventually came out to assist, but never once greeted parties that were waiting/entering the store. After about 15 minutes and other people getting their food/drinks I approached the counter to check in. Everyone was super apologetic but no compensation (free drink/slice of pie/etc) or offer of a refund was issued. The food then came out quickly but the Ruben was not as advertised (cheese wasn't melted, barely any pastrami and no sauerkraut). The Caeser wrap was good though.
Coffee and ice cream might be the way to go. Grab a bite to eat elsewhere in town.

What a hidden gem in Roslyn! We stopped by on our way home from a camping trip, and it was such a delightful surprise. The baristas were incredibly kind, welcoming, and went above and beyond—happily answering our questions and offering great recommendations from the menu.
For a small town outside of Seattle, this place knows how to craft a top-notch latte that rivals any big-city café. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area!

Cozy nice little cafe for both breakfast and lunch choice! I really love their latte, very different from what I have in the cities but it also felt more natural and tasty✨

This place is so wonderful! A cozy little spot in this beautiful little town. I came here for work, and I've loved starting my mornings with a walk around town, stopping in local shops for coffee and food. This place was my favorite experience so far! The gal who made my coffee and food was not only sweet and friendly, but the coffee and food were delicious (and my breakfast burrito was piping hot, despite me walking back to my lodging in the cold for 10 minutes!). I'm going to be thinking about this burrito for a long time - it was that good!
I'd be remiss not to mention the loveliest little greeter and host, Chuck, the cat. Apparently he's taken care of by the whole town, and he was very talkative and cuddly. Highlight of my morning, coming here!

John makes the best coffee and somehow the breakfast sandwiches are just as good. No notes. 12/10

The Merc is a must-stop in Roslyn. It has it all! Ice cream, gift shop, fresh baked goods, and of course amazing coffee and drinks.
The atmosphere is welcoming and the staff is friendly and helpful. The owner is also so incredibly kind. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I would.
Dietary restrictions: I can’t have caffeine and the have plenty of no/low caffeine options.
Parking: Street parking is easily accessible in front of the building.
Kid-friendliness: Kids love the fun ice cream flavors!

I visited this coffee shop on a busy Saturday morning. The line was long, with only two baristas working behind the counter.
When it was finally my turn, I ordered my usual: four shots of espresso in a grande cup with a splash of cream. Simple enough, right? Wrong. To my utter disbelief, the male barista accused me of trying to steal cream! I was shocked and confused by this absurd allegation.
While I understand coffee shops might have issues with people abusing self-serve stations, accusing a paying customer of theft over a splash of cream is ridiculous. Needless to say, I didn't purchase my coffee there. Instead, I went to the Red Bird Cafe across the street where they actually trusted me to add my own cream.
This unpleasant encounter was a terrible way to start my day. If someone dislikes working in customer service this much, perhaps they should consider a different career. I won't be returning to this establishment and will be sure to warn my friends about this bizarre and offensive experience.

The food was good but the service was lacking. I had a bacon and cheese croissant heated up to go that had to remind them about after 10 minutes. They were not busy and the two workers were talking and visiting. It took over 25 minutes for my friends to get two sandwiches. If you are in a hurry go to another place!
