Amazing restaurant inside a beautiful hotel, with amazing views. The Point Ruston Area is the perfect location to relax and enjoy all the amenities of the Silver Cloud Hotel, especially Copper & Salt. Copper and Salt NW Kitchen also gives back to local youth programs to keep them affordable for every child in the area.
Great for a day for relaxation and catching up with friends. Our meal was cooked to perfection and the flavors in every dish was well thought through. The view of Puget sound and Mt Rainer was breathtaking. No chill be close to such large windows. Great wine list. Staff was extremely attentive and was able to give space for a night out with friends. It was an extremely enjoyable evening. The beet salad is a good way to start off and clean your palate.
Beautiful setting for a special occasion

Copper & Salt Northwest Kitchen offers a memorable dining experience with beautiful views of the Puget Sound. The restaurant is celebrated for its freshly made pasta dishes, including the standout Elk, Duck Pasta, and Smoked Roasted Duck Ragu. Diners have praised the halibut and pesto options, while the mushroom risotto has been described as exquisite and full of flavor. The grilled octopus continues to impress, and the pork bolognese remains a treat with the dollop of ricotta. The desserts, such as pistachio gelato and espresso martini, are considered to die for and true works of art. The ribeye, though cooked to perfection, has received some mixed reviews regarding its portion size and temperature. Overall, the food is very tasty, with generous dessert portions that guests often take to go. The service is delightful, with a warm and welcoming staff, although some nights may experience thin staffing. The atmosphere is upscale yet relaxed, though it can get quite loud, which may not be ideal for intimate dinners. The Lavender mocktail is a popular choice. While there are suggestions for improvement, such as expanding the dessert menu and addressing noise levels, Copper & Salt remains a highly recommended spot for its excellent meals and beautiful view of Commencement Bay.
