First time dining here and will definitly be back. Wonderful ambiance, excellent presentation on the entree's, did not feel rushed at all. Appreciated the Valet parking.
We had a wonderful dinner.everything was perfect. The service and the ambiance were great as well as the food.
The service was delightful, prompt and pleasant. The price for my scotch was significantly higher that in other upscale places. The food was very tasty, but came to the table not very warm. A modest, automatic bread service at the start would be a nice touch. The dessert menu needs to be expanded and and matching the seasons with at least one choice would be a nice touch. Next remodel, install sound deadening materials. There are a lot of hard surfaces that make sounds echo.
Went there for lunch but they do not serve lunch on the weekends which doesn't make sense... server was very rude and I will probably never go there again
Server was amazing, she did a great job, the aesthetic was good. But the food did not live up to the standards or the price IMO. Food was bland at best. Drinks were good.
We had lunch on a Thursday in October. The restaurant is in a hotel and wasn't busy when we were there, so we got the best view table in the place, although all tables and booths have great water views. The menu was limited in choices, so it's easy to make a decision about what to order. Some people might find it too limiting. We had wine and cocktails too, and the drink list was decent. Our food was very good and arrived nicely hot. I would eat here again as a waterfront view restaurant, great for special occasions, as it's a little pricy. But you are paying for the waterfront location and view too. Wait staff was attentive and provided just the right amount of oversight.
I highly recommend dining at Copper and Salt Northwest Kitchen any time of day—whether it's brunch, lunch, dinner, or even after-dinner cocktails. What a fantastic spot! The service is consistently amazing, with a team that makes you feel welcome and well taken care of. Every visit is a great experience, and I always leave impressed. Definitely a must-visit!
Copper & Salt has become a favorite for us. The food is always creative, fresh and delicious! The restaurant is beautiful. We have been there on sunny days and a rainy & blustery day and the view is always wonderful. Service is always excellent. I highly recommend!
It was great ! We did have to wait for a table our reservation were for 7:00 they seated us at 7:25
I ordered the Crispy Octopus and t was delicious. An order or bread and the dessert took too long to reach my table.

Amazing restaurant inside a beautiful hotel, with amazing views. The Point Ruston Area is the perfect location to relax and enjoy all the amenities of the Silver Cloud Hotel, especially Copper & Salt. Copper and Salt NW Kitchen also gives back to local youth programs to keep them affordable for every child in the area.
Service, food and atmosphere was outstanding. We had the grilled octopus. Wow! The pork bolognese was literally a treat with the dollop of ricotta and was it honey? Anyway so good! The pistachio gelato and espresso martini were to die for and works of art. Felt like royalty with the complimentarily valet too. I can't wait to come back!
I had a wonderful birthday dinner here with my husband, and the experience exceeded all expectations. Our server, Sara, was incredibly attentive, quick with our orders and spot-on with her recommendations. She suggested the pistachio gelato for dessert, and wow… it was absolutely to die for!
For drinks, I highly recommend the Midnight Walk, perfectly crafted and full of flavor. Dinner was just as memorable, the ribeye was cooked to perfection and exactly what I had been craving.
From start to finish, the staff made us feel welcome and cared for. Several team members checked in throughout the night, which made the service feel genuinely thoughtful. The atmosphere was upscale yet relaxed, creating the perfect vibe for a special evening.
Even valet parking was a breeze. James greeted us with a warm welcome, explained everything clearly, and set a great tone right from the start.
All in all, an amazing experience, I can’t wait to come back!
Great food a little bit conservatively decorated for Tacoma but a beautiful view
Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. The rest of the food, coffee, service, layout, and feel were all excellent as well.
