Service and food were not to the standards they've been in the past. It was an okay dining experience when it used to be exceptional.

I can't say enough great things about our server. Anna, Donna? I apologize for not remembering But she was awesome so attentive and kind This restaurant is a gem in Tacoma

Overall an enjoyable experience, with great views of Tacoma and the Mountain. Food was good, but we were expecting a bigger menu. The staff was friendly and welcoming, they provided complimentary desserts for our wedding anniversary. Nice touch!

We enjoyed the ribeye (which my husband cannot stop talking about how perfectly cooked/seasoned it was) and gnocchi. Tried the salmon with a salad and the main dish and both times the salmon was cooked just right. Loved the mushroom pate. Wish I could have a jar of that. Tiramisu was nice. Gelato was a little too sweet for me and toffee pudding was on the drier side. Overall, great experience dining during our stay.

Perfect! We got a booth along the window. Beautiful view, sweet waitress, great vibe, as always. Steak and eggs was delicious for brunch. Thank you!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4.0/5 — Copper & Salt, Tacoma

Copper & Salt is located inside the hotel and offers courtesy valet, which is definitely convenient. The ambiance, however, is very loud and noisy — not ideal if you’re looking for a relaxed or intimate dinner.

I ordered the ribeye, which was priced at $90, and honestly the sides were disappointing: it came with only three green beans and about three tablespoons of mashed potatoes, all served cold. The portion size and temperature really didn’t match the price point.

On the positive side, the mushroom risotto was exquisite — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Both appetizers, the pear soup and the pumpkin tart with pork and goat cheese, were also incredibly flavorful and well executed. Dessert portions were generous, so we took them to go since we were already stuffed (even though the ribeye sides were tiny!).

The staff did seem very thin that night, but everyone was extremely nice and welcoming. Every person we interacted with greeted us warmly, and we truly appreciate the team for their hard work despite being short-staffed.

Overall, Copper & Salt has some standout dishes and great convenience, but the noise level and inconsistency in the main entrée bring the rating to a solid 4.0 out of 5.

Our food was cold, slow and the potatoes were runny, the tarts were filled shells. $75 each! The presentation was non existent and I asked for dark meet and got 2 drumsticks that I Could not bite into. We have eaten Thanksgiving there 3 times. This was very disappointing and frankly awful.

The food was delicious, went extra to accomodate a seating request and the staff were amazing before and throughout meal.

My wife, my son and I had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. Food, service and atmosphere were all excellent; well worth the expense.

I had 2 amazing meals here! The food is absolutely top-notch .....it's extremely fresh, and the gourmet Chef is very talented. The view of the Puget sound from the dining room is truly extraordinary. The entire staff of the restaurant is very friendly and welcoming. Don't miss this spot!

For the prices they charge, I was expecting more. I initially ordered the ribeye steak which is $65. The cut of meat I received was at least 40% inedible fat and sinew. It was not very thick, and overall disappointing. On top of that, it was not hot. The waitress was very good, and she offered to take the steak off and asked if I wanted to try something different. My 2nd choice was the pork chop, which was prepared very nicely, came out hot and tasted amazing. My wife ordered the clams as a meal although it is on the appetizer menu. She loved them. We also enjoyed a very nice bottle of wine from Duckhorn. We were celebrating our 12th anniversary, and the waitress gave us a complimentary dessert. we had the pistachio gelato. It was not very good and had a chalky taste to it. I did not complain since it was complimentary, but I would have been quite disappointed if I had paid for it. All in all, we enjoyed our meal and the ambiance but would not pay to eat there again. It was nothing special at the end of the day.
